I chose this place based on a review that stated how quiet it was here. While traveling to this resort we stopped by to visit with family being sure to leave on time to arrive at the resort by 4pm. We arrived at 3:55pm and went to check in only to be told our room wasn't ready. How long could it take right, so we sit on the rocking chairs outside. About 40 minutes go by and we're wondering why we haven't heard anything, we go to check only to be told it's still not ready, we go back outside disappointed. What choice do we have other than to wait? Not only are we annoyed but we're tired. By 540pm we finally get our room keys and we're told for our convenience we would be receiving an email from the manager regarding a complimentary stay. After 2 days of not receiving the email I reached out to inquire only to be told I will check on that for you, still no response!

My family and i were very happy with our stay here. The units were a bit dated in ways but clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and at no time did i get a sales pitch or anything other than great service. The heated pool, hot tub and fire pit are excellent. The only negative would be the poor quality internet service. Cell service in the resort area is not good. Ting to use the wifi is worse. Overall, my expectations were exceeded and i will stay again.
