Our room was not clean. The bathroom was dirty with soiled walls floor, floor, bath tub. The toilet often didn't flush properly. The toilet paper holder was broken and in pieces. The ceiling vent also looked dirty. The shelf under the sink was full of dust. The bathroom door was was soiled and smudged. There was a random sock in one of the bedroom bureau drawers. The room heater was very noisy. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt as though we were sleeping on a box spring rather than a mattress. On the plus side the desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Wifi was not functional most of the time. This is an old hotel which is poorly maintained. We would never recommend or stay there again.

I believe the manager of this location should have more training in "hospitality." And look up the definition of that word. Because I will not return to this location again. I'd rather sleep in my vehicle. I've staying here before and was checked in by this same person. And she doesn't smile, is not very welcoming and not accommodating at all. I asked to check in early and I was told by her that checkin time is 4pm and she would not budge. She said I would gave to pay for an addnight. I drove Amish people here from NY and would only be here until 8pm. I have been driving Amish for 10 years and most motels are usually very accommodating. And this location used to be also, until this manager took over. We had some words and I do regret some things that I said to her. She was flippant as well. I called later and apologized. I canceled my reservation there and went somewhere else instead. Their policy is no refund. And again, she would not budge. So I lost that money. But I am in this area many times during the year and will not choose this motel again. So the greater loss is theirs in the end..100s of dollars. Today I am in PA again and I was told by the motel I booked that normal policy is 3pm to check in. But since I'm leaving at 8pm, of course they can be flexible and I am welcome to come anytime today. Now THIS is hospitality.

Terrible leak from the ceiling, toilet did not flush, bed sounded like it was going to break, no wifi, the entire place needs to be renovated and some really sketchy people walking around. Stay away if possible

You don't expect luxury with a Quality Inn, but our room had dead beetles all over the floor. The heater is extremely loud and wakes up the room when it turns on, the hallways were all banged up and in a state of disrepair, and they did not keep the toilet paper stocked in the room.

This is an average hotel in a very rural part of Pennsylvania. It's close enough to Penn State to attract visitors. Very outdated but the staff were friendly.
