Poor customer service
Dear Hotels.com,
Thank you for reaching out regarding my recent stay at the VUE Boutique Hotel & Boathouse. While the hotel's location was convenient, I unfortunately had several negative experiences impacting my overall satisfaction.
Specifically, I encountered unfriendly and unhelpful service from multiple staff members. The restaurant staff at the boathouse provided poor service, and employees at the hotel itself were similarly unhelpful when I sought assistance. This was particularly disappointing.
It's important to note, however, that one staff member, Manuely, who cleaned our room, provided exceptional service and the water bouncy place were the highlight of our stay. This underscores the inconsistency in service quality.
Furthermore, I experienced two incredibly concerning incidents involving racial comments – one from a male Starbucks/bartender and another from a female staff member collecting linens. These comments were completely unacceptable and created an uncomfortable and hostile environment.
I hope you will investigate these matters and take appropriate action to address the issues with staff training and behavior. Improving customer service and ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests should be a top priority. I believe this feedback is crucial for enhancing the guest experience at your property.
