Disappointing

We paid extra money to make sure we had a river view room. When we walked in the room, instead of seeing the beautiful view of the river all we could see was dirt on the windows. I am not just talking about a bit of grime, but the whole window was covered. Completely ruined the view, and definitely not worth paying extra money for. Very disappointed for a “boutique” hotel that charged an extra $30 service fee on top to stay at. Would not stay here again.

Building was a little outdated, walls were thin and we had to park across the street (although not a huge deal for us personally). The view was outstanding, and it bought some quiet to a bustling travel town. We booked in advance and got a great deal on our stay. I would not pay $300/night for what a room was listed the weeks leading up to our stay if not booking in advance. We were there for a sports tournament only and would stay again when looking at reasonable options where a water park is not needed/wanted.

The rooms are very small, the carpet is gross and there must be no sound proofing. We could hear everything in the room next to us from the minute we checked in. We could hear word for word what they were saying. The restaurant onsite had a very limited menu. The view is beautiful, you can't beat being right on the water - that was our only plus.

We liked how close the hotel was to the downtown. Nice view of the river. Our stay was during early spring so we didn't get to enjoy any of the tickets to Natura or the outdoor part of the bar/restaurant but it seems like a good amenities. My only complaint was the paper thin walls. I could hear every single step, cough, and sneeze the people around us did. We got a room right next to the stairs and could hear anytime someone ran up and down the stairs.
