Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
My husband and I just stayed for the night because we were having dinner with friends for her and my birthday up in WI Dells, WI. If not for the later dinner and going out afterwards, we would have just driven back home. We shouldn't have been charged more than $100 for this place. I thought it was a newer hotel and therefore would be clean. Nope. I thought I saw mold on the ceiling near the bed and above the shower in the bathroom. It was either that or water stains that could lead into mold but either way should be taken care of. I knew going in we couldn't have the river view side. All we had was a view of the parking lot, but I didn't bother touching the curtain much, because it was filthy dirty, like someone grabbed it with dirty fingers and obviously is never cleaned. The fan in the bathroom was loud. There was hardly any lighting over the shower. When we took a shower this morning, there was no shampoo or body gel left, only conditioner, and I was only able to get out a few drops out. I had to use the small hand bar soap, which was fine, but still, these shouldn't be run down that much. Showing again that cleanliness in this hotel isn't a priority. The overall room smelled musty and when we left today, our vehicle smelled like strong sewage and my husband said that he saw someone draining the tank. Not a great hotel experience in our corner room #1525. I have photos to prove it. There are things included with your stay here that we didn't get to utilize.
