No air con or fan in bedroom. Rubbish left on common hallway tables for our 2 day stay. Room not serviced even though sign out. Drips down front of dishwasher and stove and coffee/tea leaves not cleaned from behind the caddie from last guests.

This is really more a 2-3 stars property. In general the property is run down and looked tired and worn out. It was previously an apartment block that was bought and converted into a ‘hotel’. There’s wall patches that wasn’t properly done and paint coming off the joinery. We noticed a spider in the toilet and the vents sound like a machine. The rooms are not air-conditioned which isn’t up to par given the price and 4 star rating on Google. I think it here needs to be a lot of adjustments (lower) to reflect the true quality/value/type of the accommodation.

We wwre put into the wheelchair accessibility room, which meant oue shower had a shower curtain which are extremely unsanitary. They stick to yori body when showering and I absolutely guarantee they arw NOT washed between guests. The shower setup means water goes absolutely EVERYWHERE throughout the bathroom so I had to ask for a LOT more towels to contain thwn water. It would bw good for staff to check if this setup suits a customer prior to them staying. The ret was otherwise good.

The Mantra is convenient to everything and check in was easy. Unfortunately the unit was very rundown. The lounge was very stained and the furnishings and carpet very worn. The carpark is quite tight to exit if you have a large vehicle. I also was placed in an accessible apartment which was fine however if I’d been in a wheelchair there is absolutely no way i could have accessed the bedroom as the lounge was only about 50cm from the door. There was also a strong smell of cigarettes in the apartment and no tea towels.

It is on a main road so the surrounds are particularly picturesque but it was quiet and had plenty of street parking. We'd definitely go back as it was good value relative to other accommodation options in the Gong

Flat surfaces in our room were dusty/dirty. Reception staff member was not overly friendly or willing to engage in conversation and suggestions when prompted. Older property with minimal up keep/refreshing really shows in white trims and broken latches handles
