It was ok. TV wasn't working very well & was not fixable. Volume was broken, Lines down the TV & remote's performance was iffy. Manager was supposed to call us & never did. But apparently they knew the room had TV issues due to the note on the front desk. Ddidn't plan for a different room or tell us. Breakfast was ok but the staff around that area had an attitude in certain instances. (ex: someone spilled some cereal & even though staff & the guest were going to clean it, staff was yelling at the guest not to touch it because 'we'll lose our license' - not something to really say publicly & the whole room looked concerned.) Shower was nice. The temperature gage in the room seems to be broken as we tried to adjust it & it never worked. Gym was fine. Would stay again if passing through & note planning to stay in the room for much. Nothing in the ways of compensation but made sure we made staff aware & noted about the damage so we are not blamed.

Some pros, some cons

Breakfast bar closes well before 11 a.m. check-outtime. Mattresses could be firmer. In-room cube refrigerator was noisy with no easy way to unplug it. Generally in a vwry uiet location.

The facilities are nice and the front desk person helped us out a lot. He was great. My suggestions for breakfast is either omitting or improving the waffles. Pretty bad. The little omelets were pretty good, but I'd prefer lightly scrambled had there been a choice. Generally I found the food choices pretty mediocre.

Pet friendly with an even friendlier staff. The breakfast is excellent. The Hampton Hotels I've stayed at are always clean, quiet at night, parking plenty, pet friendly, and well managed. I always ask other pet owners to be good pet owners and to do our part to keep good pet friendly hotels available.

It was a really nice clean room, thanks to housekeeping staff who keep the hotel running. However, there was unsalted grounds outside and we almost slid on black ice several times. And the tv did not work in our room. Other than that, everything was good.
