The room was very clean. There was a comfortable sitting area in the room. The breakfast was very good The pillows on the bed were not comfortable. I reserved this hotel because they had a pool and hot tub. But when I arrived the pool and hot tub were being repaired. The evening, clerk said I should have been notified. But I was not

Here's the deal.....This poor establishment suffered a catastrophic disaster, when apparently a customer hung something heavy on a sprinkler head thing and Holy Smokes! They are under construction! Totally not their fault, I blame Expedia for the fact we searched every option possible for a MUCH needed hot tub, found this place, booked it while driving, only to find out all such facilities were still closed due to said disaster. I blame Expedia for not having systems in place that allow properties to disclose these things on the App. We were very annoyed and disappointed, but we didn't share those feelings with the lovely and stressed staff.. we'll return to this place, spotless and homey where it could be, if they rebuild/re-open the pool and hot tub area Overall lovely people, clean and comfy.

The hotel staff emailed me a few hours before check in to let me know that the pool and hot tub were under construction, too late to cancel. It turned out that the hotel was experiencing a major remodel due to a guest flooding a room, and a subsequent pipe break. This did not affect my room. The room was spacious and comfortable, however there was a lot of truck noise from the adjacent highway. I don’t know if a quieter room might have been available if not for the construction.
