Tenmile House - Mukava merinäköala

Tenmile House on saanut nimensä lähellä Tenmile Creek, joka on yksi Oregon Coastin puhtaimmista ja selvimmistä puroista.
Tenmile House on äskettäin remontoitu, jotta se olisi mukava paikka laajempia perhejuhliin. Kolme täyttä makuuhuonetta, kaksi kerrossänkyä, sohva ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta, siellä on tilaa sisaruksia varten lasten ja isovanhempien kanssa. Suuri toisen kerroksen sviitti tarjoaa yksityisyyttä sekä antelias näkymät merelle. Suuri kannella tarjoaa iltapäivän auringonpaistetta ja näkymät merelle. Olohuoneessa oleva puulattia lämmittää yhteistä aluetta, jossa suuret ikkunat tarjoavat näkymät merelle, vanhoille metsille ja historialliselle Tenmile Creek -sillalle, kauniille kaarille, joka nousee maisemasta, kuten jättiläinen veistos.
Quarter mile hiekkaranta on vain viiden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Tenmile House Stonefield State Wayside, vähän käytetty valtion puisto tunnetaan akaatit, jotka löytyvät rannalla Cobbles. BUNK ROOM: Pieni piilopaikka lapset rakastavat, kerrossängyt, lukuvalot ja seinän suljettu lämmitin pitää huoneen paahteinen pienille.

Nice lay out of house. Sleeping arrangements down stairs is nice. Dbl bathrooms was perfect. The location is not as advertised, I thought it was in or close to town Nope. The mice were a little cute , but unnecessary. 3 minutes into BBQ steaks. Run out of propane. No worries, there’s a back up bottle… empty as well. Would I come back to Ten mile House, Yes If I didn’t have to work in Waldport. And it was just for chill and Netflix. Yes 100%. I would come back Mite call ahead, to the super nice property manager, ask if propane tanks are filled !
This is the best steak seasoning ever and Dano’s yumm yumm get ya some. Of course.

Check-in was easy and straight forward. Kitchen had had all the essentials and was clean. Had a ton of room for us (we had four people), but there was room for more. Nice clean bathrooms. It was a cozy and comfortable space. Communication was easy peasy. We'll definitely rent this place again, it was awesome.

Ocean view is a joke, it is a little peek so far away you don't know if it is sky or water.

no ocean view, very misleading ad about the ocean view. We are in our 70's so we thought we would be able to relax and watch the ocean. The bed spread in upstairs bedroom was either stained or dirty. Some of the dishes in the cupboard had been used and put back dirty, a cup had multiple rings in it, which came right out when washed. Stove was dirty, the windows were filthy. The water pressure was bad. You couldn't run the dishwasher and shower at the same time, if showering when someone flushed the toilet, you got scalded. We had a hard time getting the pin number to get in. Could not get a live person, only answering machine, so we could not head to the beach until we had a pin. When we finally got the pin and drove there we had a terrible time getting in the house because the lock box was corroded and would't open. It was a very disappointing trip and certainly not worth $400. a night

Ten mile

I could understand how some would not care for the place. It's dated and inconvenient if you want to run to the store in under 10 minutes. The house could use a good window cleaning, mold in the window casings gave the closed house a musty smell but aired it out and was fine . Lived on the Oregon coast for 15 years so knew the area, great for us, some of the best beaches along the entire coast and way less crowded than most. tareaout and it waz fine.

House needs more cleaning

Dog poop bags and cans in backyard, very dusty, bedspread I slept in had food stains and chunks on it. Bedspreads should be washed after every visitor! No outside garage can to be found. We did have fun visiting local beaches and restaurants and seeing family we hadn't seen in years!

A wonderful respite

10-Mile house was terrific. We had a wonderful visit in Oregon with family and friends, a chance for one last vacation with a friend who will soon pass from cancer. We had a major hiccup with our trip when my mother broke the front door key off in the lock. Steve was amazing, as I and some other friends were rushing back down the coast to help out, Steve had brought a spare key, removed the damaged one, and opened the house for my folks to get safely inside. He even offered to help get my elderly father from the car safely inside the house. The support from both the VRBO staff, and the property owner really made this vacation amazing. 10-Mile House will top my list of places to stay if I get to return to the coast.

Great Family Rental

We enjoyed our stay, just wished we had more of an ocean view. Only had a sliver of the water showing if you looked just right. Overall, the place was great for us. Plenty of room to accommodate the 5 of us. Very private and centrally located.

This was a great functional floor plan for an extended family like ours. The nautical theme throughout the home was nice. Bright, open and cheerful . Great picnic table and grill in back. Close walk to tide pool beach. Only thing missing might be a Tupperware container with salt , pepper, sugar and creamer in it. We understand you don’t want food left but those essentials would be so nice. Thanks for a great stay. We’d go again.

We enjoyed a week exploring the coast. The town of Yachats had great food and shopping. The house does not come with sand toys and chairs for the beach, so bring your own. We would stay here again!

Very Comfortable and Great Location

Very nice home to spend some quiet family time with our college-age sons. Great day trips to local breweries and Tillamook were wonderful ways to see the area. Communication with management a little slow, but overall a very nice Thanksgiving holiday!

Roomy!

We really loved all the space and different sleeping areas. Nice large private area upstairs was great for a couple plus a kid or single sleeper with the partition in between spaces. Could even set up a pac-n-play for a baby. Lots of space upstairs. Downstairs could sleep 6 people! Great layout for big families. The beds were comfortable. Nice bedding. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessities, bathrooms were good sized and really nice too. The antique furniture was beautiful. Loved the big pieces. Access to the beach is right across the hwy. A little change in elevation from the trail to the sand, but no problem if you're sure footed. The beach area there is wide, flat and long, great for all activities. Hwy noise went unnoticed from inside the house. Big kitchen table to fit everyone, great crafting space as well. Nice picnic table/area out back. The sofa could use updating, but was ok. The only thing we saw that bothered us was the lack of cleaning/dusting up high in the main family room, including the ceiling fan. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed ourselves there!

The property was comfortable and homey, with all that we needed. Our one contact with property management was good, and that occurred only because the internet provider came to install a new modem and no one knew he was coming.
