Rude and Bad Area
Was not thrilled with the welcoming when first arriving at the hotel. First of all, it does not give one much confidence about staying overnight at a hotel, especially with a moving truck and car full of stuff, when the front desk person is behind a glass window and you can’t walk into the lobby of the hotel to check in. Instead you are freezing in the cold with your young family, waiting for the front desk person to check you in. When I handed him our ID and he could tell we were there with a reservation, you’d think he could let you in at that point. Either way, what does that say about the area of he needs to be kept behind glass like that and the lobby is closed.
The other annoying thing is it was not made obvious there were no elevators for the building AND the room pictures online looked NOTHING like the actual rooms. It was as if they stole pictures from the comfort inn back in Redding and were passing them off as a new or renovated hotel. Very misleading. Rude staff, especially the front desk clerk at night. Wouldn’t recommend it in the future
