The hosts have owned this for over 45 years and are proud of this nice motel. As they should be. Clean and good restaurants within walking distance. Not a modern hotel but in good shape. Highly recommended!

A great value

Quiet, very clean, comfortable bed and very hot shower. The microwave and refrigerator were appreciated conveniences as was the desk area. Very convenient location for White Sands visitors.

Nice place, would totally stay again

The woman at check in was very nice and informative. Room was small, but clean and cute. All we needed was a clean, decent place to stay for the night, and this was perfect. Cute decor outside, and the table with chairs outside of the room would have made this great for a couple days' stay. Decent, simple breakfast was available for when we hit the road early.

Pros - very well located - microwave and refrigerator Cons - there was old food in the refrigerator - the AC air-conditioned filter was extremely dirty. - the towels and blankets were colorful so you can not see how clean or dirty it is. - no breakfast

The proprietor is delightfully friendly and helpful. The room is lovely and for being close to the street and shopping and restaurants, I found it to be very quiet. All ground level rooms for easy moving of luggage into the room; thank you!

A good Thai restaurant was right next door that you could walk to, and the motel is very close to other chain restaurants and coffee shops. It’s also 16 min away from White Sands National Park which was perfect for our trip. The room was nice and clean, and there was a little quick breakfast room for the mornings.

single story no double floors so you don't hear Frankenstein upstairs. Small rooms but clean and quiet. double pain windows. did not hear too much traffic. I will deffently stay here again.

Retro vibe in an older motel, but it was refreshing and comfortable. The proprietor was friendly, helpful, efficient and very pleasant. He gave us great recommendations for dining. He also provided info about the area. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. It might not be a Holiday Inn, but you can't beat the ambiance, friendly faces, and Mom and pop atmosphere. I would stay again.

Quiet and close to restaurants. Good distance from attractions. Bottom of bathroom door frame wood rot from the inside needs attention. Air Conditioning unit fan speed is constant at high speed. It needs to have a lower fan speed setting.
