What a gem! We liked the fact you didn’t feel like you were stomping down the hallway. In the room, you couldn’t hear your neighbors. The room was spacious and clean. Food and drinks were delicious. Staff was very nice.

an employee rented the suite upstairs of us and he woke us up at 245 am fighting, slamming doors, stomping. I spoke with Matt the manager. He said he would comp our room for Friday it hasn't been done. We had the worse first night there.

The room was clean but basic. The tv was very small. Biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed for remodel (we had grandchildren with us) and I felt they should have reduced the rate since we were not notified ahead of time. On a great note, the breakfast was wonderful!

Overall it was decent. Rooms are dated and bathroom could use an upgrade to feel cleaner. Hotel set up is like a maze. They were hosting an event party and our room was next to and shared a wall with their event room. Thankfully it ended at 10pm otherwise we were headed for requesting a new room farther from the party as the music and noise was so loud it was hard to enjoy our down time.

Bowling Tournament Stay

All-in-all, a very pleasant stay. My only worry was the shower chair not quite fitting in the tub. However, I got it to work. Enjoyed the restaurant for lunch on Saturday. There was a separate event going on that we were able to peruse.

Need to Clean!!

When I opened the shower curtain I found a big glob of hair by the drain and more hair by the back of the shower with an opened bottle of shampoo. The shower was definitely not cleaned. I told the girl when I was checking out and she just shook her head but I never even heard an "I'm sorry"

Superb Experience

Rooms and pool were great, but I would stay there just for the bar and restaurant. They had incredible food and a super fun vibe at the bar. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

In Bad Need of Major Renovation

We found the facility and rooms in bad need of a renovation. Rooms were dark and dingy. Hallways were dirty. There were youth sports teams staying on our floor so we spent the night listening to kids running up and down the hallways most of the night. I would not recommend staying here if you are in Altoona.

I was in town for work. The privately owned hotel was fine for the one night I needed a clean, comfortable bed. Cons: The room was outdated and I could hear the neighbors in the adjoining room. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired. Pros: this property was very affordable and terribly convenient. Parking was plentiful and convenient.
