Beautiful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam but off Dam Square where all the action was. Great staff who assisted us with tram information and suggestions of tourist spots.

Wonderful hotel

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we loved it! It’s in a great location, very clean, staff were wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious! Our only small complaint was that the pillows are not great. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel that is in a perfect location - easy to walk to everything ( shopping, restaurants, tourist attractions and transportation). Would stay here again!

Our room was very small with hardly any space to lay out our suitcases. We had to rearrange the furniture to make it work. The fridge did not work and the front desk staff insisted that it did. They also forgot to clean our room one day and we felt we needed to remind them. Our room was down a set of very narrow and steep stairs. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time or for the staff to offer to help carry luggage. I was worried about hurting myself on those stairs. There was also a lot of street noise.

The staff at the hotel are so courteous and accommodating to every need. They all go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. They are pleasant and really made us feel welcomed. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping, dining, sight-seeing and the central station. It’s a beautiful area and the history of the hotel makes it charming.
