When we entered, a cleaning person was taking all the chairs in the lobby and dusting them the legs underneath and wiping down the top the back and underside it was amazing

No hot egg breakfast during the week?

Our second stay within 5 weeks. We enjoy the Amsterdam Microtel. Super clean, and friendly staff. Surprised and disappointed that hot egg breakfast was only on wknds. Why? Can't be lack of guests. We saw many business people coming and going.

We love this hotel and whenever we are in the area we stay here. The property is immaculate. They have a small breakfast that is more than adequate. The beds are super comfortable and everything looks brand new. It is a 5 star property.

What happened to breakfast?

The girl at the front desk when we checked tried to change our accomodations from the third floor to first when she saw the walking difficulty my husband was having, but was unsuccessful . My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I do a lot of traveling and that is the 1st motel I have been in in probably 5 years at least where there has been no hot breakfast. Just stale bagels 2 kinds of cereal But it said you needed staff help to use it and basically there was nobody supervising the breakfast room. I saw a lot of people come down looking around trying to figure out if they were missing something and then just left
