Probably the nicest motel in Arcata. Clean. Breakfast was fine (exactly what you would expect from hotel breakfast). Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Over priced typical mid-level.

I reserved what I thought was a two room suite. Turned out to be large two queen room for $350/night. Nothing special for the price, housekeeping every two days, and then could listen to next door loud conversations starting at 5:30 am. Will not choose Hampton again.

Nate at check in was outstanding. The rest of the staff was well below average. Non-communicative and dismissive. The young front desk dude when we checked out never acknowledge me, never spoke a word to me, just played with his phone while getting me the towel I had requested.

The WiFi was pretty weak. $5 charge for ‘premium’ but could never find out where to purchase it after declining the first time. I rely on good internet to work. Keep in mind not great cell service (VZW). Other than that slept like a baby, everything was clean, and had no issues at all! Would stay again.
