The front office staff were wonderful!! But the first room I tried smelled like cigarettes and had something that was most likely black mold in the bathroom. The front office got me switched to another room right away. Sadly, this room smelled bad too. The bathroom was cleaner than the first but the lighting was very dim. As I sat on the end of the bed looking at the ripped and stained upholstery trying to talk myself into staying but instead opted for booking another room in Seaside. I stepped out on the balcony but didn’t feel safe. So back to the office I went to drop off the keys and high tail it out of there.

A great value for its location and view! Excellent balcony view, friendly and proactive staff, spacious room with a spectacular view, easy parking and direct access to the trolley plus a 25-minute walk downtown.

This was an amazing place to stay. It didn’t seem like it from the outside, but….. the room was incredible! It was huge and overlooked the water. I would definitely stay here again!!! I couldn’t believe how great the price was.

The room was ok at best. The bathroom was bad, the paint above the bathtub was chipping, the exhaust was not functional at all, we had to open the cistern to flush the toilet most of the times since the handle was very loose. The mattress was good, but we had encounters with spiders a few times. The balcony's view was good, but the condition of the balcony was in shambles. The table in the balcony had 1 leg broken, the chairs were scary to sit, and the overall cleanliness of the balcony was not acceptable. On the bright side though, the food and parking were great. The location of property is very good Overall its an old property and needs a lot of work in the areas I mentioned.

This property looks nothing like the photos! Definitely run down. I was worried that I may be getting another place. Our room reeks of pine sole. It was clean enough for me to sleep in it so we stayed. Will not stay again .

We stayed here for our one year anniversary. Overall our experience was good. We did have a sewage back up in our room from the high tide and had to move rooms around 11pm. We were comped that night by the hotel manager who was very apologetic and accommodating. The facilities are kinda run down and the hotel is very old and outdated. But the rooms are still clean and a nice bed is what really makes or breaks my experience. Their beds still felt very clean and comfy. I Loved the balcony views of the dock, watching the large ships pass by was a nice perk. I think with everything that happened, most would leave with a bad taste in their mouth. But the maintenance guy that helped with the issue was so nice and charismatic that it really changed our mood about the situation. The lady who put breakfast out every morning was so delightful and the manager and front desk personnel were really great. I always love a hotel that will still put out a free breakfast, part of the reason we stayed here. I understand things happen, and it wasn’t our luck this weekend. But I would stay again!

The hotel is dated and badly in need of a retrofit. There were stains on the carpet, and the accommodations felt a lot like a Days Inn. Nevertheless, the view made up for everything else.
