I recently stayed at this hotel and want to share an honest review. The staff were truly excellent—very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location is also great, especially if you want to be close to Avalon. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the fact that the hotel allows pets was a big plus. My 3-pound Chihuahua mix enjoyed her stay just as much as I did. However, there were several issues. The shower water was never more than lukewarm, and on my last day it was completely cold. I notified the front desk, and while they did address it, it was still disappointing. The refrigerator in my room also didn’t work. Breakfast definitely needs improvement. Serving microwaved eggs is not acceptable for a hotel. This might be fine at a fast-food place, but not here. If you need help learning how to cook proper eggs, I’d be happy to offer a lesson. Parking was another downside. It costs $12 per day, but the parking isn’t in a secure or enclosed structure. It’s simply street parking around the hotel. At the very least, guests should be issued a parking permit for the duration of their stay instead of being charged for basic outdoor parking. Charging $12 for that is really not okay. Overall, the staff and location are fantastic, but several amenities and services need attention.

We had a reservation and arrived around 7pm. They said they were overbooked but set up alternative accommodations at another hotel. They said it was 5 min away. They claimed the other hotel would be expecting us and that they were covering the first night (we had two nights booked), When we arrived at the new hotel (10 min away) they said they hadn't heard a word. They tried to call EVEN and the answer was 'we will get back to you tomorrow.". We paid for the two nights and never heard a word. Awful! There was another guy right behind us with the same situation from EVEN and he was in the same situation.
