Overall great stay

Overall we had a great stay. The only complaints I have is that the floor in our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently and the room had a weird paint smell (the hotel is remodeling). Other than that we had a great stay.

This Holiday Inn Express was just fine for a hotel of its type - a rather minimal hotel, suitable for a short stay for a business traveler who does not expect any resort style amenities or service. There was some difficulty with the thermostats (rather confusing) or the air conditioning itself in one room, resolved by switching a room, which was done without fuss. And the complimentary breakfast was no thrill - as expected.
