We stayed for 4 nights. We liked the lay out of the room and the bed was comfortable. Our room key didnt work the 2nd or 3rd night so we had to get keys reprogrammed 2 days in a row. The first time they cleaned our room they didn’t replace the dirty wash cloths or towels they had taken. No continental breakfast. The closet and refrigerator smelled of fried food. After the first night no one greeted you when you came in or left.

Conveniently near the airport. However it took me an hour to get picked up when I arrived close to 11pm. I had to call twice to get a pickup since apparently I was just skipped during the first pickup attempt by the hotel. Some wear & tear on the table and sofa in my hotel room, but nothing actually broken. Hotel seems fine for a short no-frills visit.

My stay at the Holiday Inn near BWI Airport was marked by exceptional service amidst a noticeably aged environment. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast, were consistently friendly, helpful, and proactive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was truly commendable. However, the hotel's physical condition detracted from the experience. The dated décor, worn furnishings, and a general lack of freshness contributed to a somewhat "dirty and tanned" feel. While the staff's efforts were outstanding, the aging infrastructure and apparent lack of thorough cleanliness were noticeable. In summary, the Holiday Inn BWI boasts truly excellent and dedicated staff. However, potential guests should be aware that the hotel's physical appearance is dated and in need of significant renovation to match the high level of service provided.
