This hotel was gorgeous, inside and out. We had a king room with a balcony. The room was very spacious, there is a rooftop bar overlooking the Cathedral of Barcelona. A must see while you are there. The location was perfect. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is due to hotel noise. The walls are very thin, you could hear your neighbors from the sides and above your room.

My friend and I came to Barcelona before we head off on a cruise. We stayed three nights. We stayed in the penthouse —which was great and the balcony was to die for. Huge balcony that wrapped around the room. There was a table and chairs, a set of comfy chairs and two chaise loungers on the patio along with nice floor lamps that made a nice, gentle light at night. We felt spoiled staying in such a magnificent room with that balcony. But, best of all was the hostess who checked us in— Raquel! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. I cannot say enough good things about her. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be better with the cathedral across the street and the plaza where musicians and performers played day and night. It was a fun place to be. I fell in love with this city and its people. Lamaro hotel made our stay everything we could’ve imagined— and more.

Beautiful hotel in a most convenient and awesome location right across from the cathedral. Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in due to the staff, the cleanliness, and our amazing balcony overlooking the plaza. Raquel, the woman working the front desk when we arrived went above and beyond for us our entire stay. She was fabulous. The location can’t be beat and the penthouse terrace was dreamy. I hope to one day return to this magnificent city, and I’d certainly stay here again. Hopefully Raquel will still be here! ❤️
