Wonderful property in the hart of the Gothic quarter. Walking distance to almost anywhere. Amazing stuff that goes out of the way to help you in any way. All stuff was super helpful. Oleg however was amazing and so was Zhora. Oleg was very knowledgeable about the area, there was nothing he didn’t know. He immediately pulled up everything on computer, gave detailed information. Just an amazing person working in this hotel. This is not to take away from all the other employees, but had to mention him specifically. Great property and very happy I chose it.

Amazing location

Just stayed 2 nights and loved the location and views at this hotel. The decor is beautiful. Everything is updated and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet had so many options and they were all delicious. Staff and service was also amazing. Would definitely go back next time we're in Barcelona.

The location cannot be beat. The hotel wanted to be perfection, and I would stay there again, however odd things, such as no heat - April-60 degrees outside, needed a heater brought to room. Tvs did not work. Then, one tv worked but both remotes did not, and one could not be fixed. Overall not what you expect from this level of a hotel. The staff were very nice. The location is OUTSTANDING. Can use a few more pillows on the bed. Bed would split apart when using. Two twins put together.. yet come apart? very odd, and again, not appropriate for this cost/stars... I would say a disappointing stay given the price, and expectations. Staff get 4 stars, hotel, 3.

Property was an old building,I had absolutely no view. Prices were very high but inline with others in area. The workers especially the fellow who handled my luggage was a very nice man. Best part was rooftop bar restaurant in front of the cathedral.

Overall, the hotel was very good. Excellent location in Gothic region. Only complaint was very low water pressure which made taking showers unpleasant. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

I booked an "Elegance Room" through Expedia on June 28, 2024 for a 1-night visit prior to leaving on a cruise scheduled for April 26, 2025 - almost a YEAR prior to the date we would arrive. I have stayed in an Elegance Room at the Hotel Colon/Lamaro in the past and it was a lovely room as depicted on the hotel's website. When we arrived we were sent to room 102. We were stunned by the room. It was ground level, tiny and the view was of a very large air duct covering the whole window. Certainly NOT the room we were expecting and had paid for a year prior. Both my husband and I went to the registration desk and asked for an appropriate room and we were told they were full and we would have to settle for the room they gave us. I was expecting since we booked through Expedia we would get the room we paid for. I am hoping Expedia will contact the hotel to address this to be certain it doesn’t happen again in the future. Beware when booking this hotel.

View of the Cathedral was amazing! The restaurant was excellent! I was truly impressed with how great the food was. Staff was very helpful. Super easy to grab a cab at the corner. Surrounded by beautiful shops. Great outdoor bar and seating.
