Clearly this hotel was a favourite for Barcelona. Lots of locals try to get in so Security was tight. Always asking who are you. They offered access to the roof top lounge and dinning room. But never go there. Always book up. Could not get a table until 10 pm. Not for a family. Sunday night there was a big pool disco party and locals lined up. The main floor bars were packed. The location for swimming was good. The breakfast again was not up to a Marriott standard I am use too. Only self serve. Order fried eggs and never got them. On serve said the breakfast is covered but the tip is not? Most staff tried to accommodated but was it a 6 start, no not at all. At least the bathroom did not have clear windows into the room like a lot of hotels.

Great stay here in August. Loved the pool areas and the bar at the top was great. We were given the breakfast option for free on the three days we stayed and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel. Lovely

Terrible experience

Aside from the great location and view it was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. The first night the whole pool and beach area shutdown early for a DJ show and we couldn’t get anyone to get us drinks for at least 30 minutes. Shower leaked out into sink area and into toilet every time we showered. Anytime a neighboring door shut the mirror and whole wall rattled very loud. Couch and floor stained. Open concept to lobby and bar down below made for very loud nights and hard to sleep. Our keys stopped working on the third day we were staying there. I was very disappointed with this hotel especially for how much money I spent on the room. I would never stay here again.

The hotel itself was very nice. Very modern, great location. Checking in, proved to be an ordeal. Long wait with people cutting in line, not enough staff, terribly slow. Then my case didn’t work and I had to go back and wait again. Should be better for a five star hotel.

Pros, has great amenities, great views of beach, nice pools, restaurants and bars very nice but pricey (of course). Cons, couldn't really think of any besides the boardwalk, very chaotic. But thats not the hotels issue

The view from the hotel is absolutely incredible and It’s nice to have beach front. However for the price the hotel is dated with paint coming off the walls and the baseboards throughout the hotel are dirty. It’s got a party vibe. The breakfast and the view were good. But not worth the price.

The pool areas were beautiful with excellent poolside service. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping service is excellent. Restaurants had excellent food with large variety of choices.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, and the food and drinks were outstanding at all the restaurants and bars. It was the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary. We loved that we were close enough to be able to walk into the city or easily grab a cab waiting outside the hotel, but also far enough away from the city that we had a luxurious place to relax when we returned from our excursions. We were very sad to leave and dream of returning again someday!

Everything was fantastic been friend for years. Didn’t get accommodated for the upstairs restaurant. Made a reservation for the wrong day. That’s on me. But, at least a cocktail to See upstairs would have been Nice the insider and concierge team was next level.
