The stay was an overnight thing so I wasn’t looking for anything spectacular saw a roach as I was packing up to leave wanted to tell front desk about it as I checked out

They have roaches in the room. Me and My Wife bought food back and put it in the fridge and roaches got in it so we had to throw it away. They was too small and was broken in the room that was in but other than that, the woman that checked us in that more that afternoon was very nice and polite and she did every day she could to help us out when our accommodations

When I arrived at the property at 330 pm for check in, I went to the front counter area, which was vey small, the attendant told me there wasn't any computer usage available for check in. They were using a typed list on a sheet of paper. I had to use my own cell phone to connect to the Extended Stay America website, in order to enter my credit card information to pay for the room. Once that was accomplished, we entered the property. The hall was musty smelling. The room was very small. The door to the bath room would not close properly because the door was to BIG for the opening AND the lock mechanism was MISSING. I went back to the check in counter and no one was available for many minutes. On about my 5th trip to the front counter, there was some one available to address my concerns. The response was unacceptable, so I request immediate check out and went to another hotel, The Red Roof Inn, down the road to stay for the night.
