The office staff was very pleasant to speak with. He gave me instructions on how to get around the area if I wanted to walk to downtown. That was very helpful. He answered all of my questions from beginning to end. The stay was so relaxing. Parking is super quiet. The rooms are small but super cozy and clean. I will definitely go back again when I’m in the area.

Convenient for CSUF visits. Sparse but clean and roomy. Very recent renovations. Fridge, microwave. Flowers in landscape plantings very fresh and pretty. Our second time here.

Nice Motel for the Money.

Nice clean facility. Simple no frills motel, but nice. Great breakfast restaurant across the street. There is no continental breakfast at the motel.

Could be better

It was nice. A few things could have been better. 1. Have a working hair dryer. 2. Have a deadbolt on the door instead of just a lock. 3. Have bottles of shampoo instead of soap in a dispenser that doubles as shampoo. 4. Make sure your marque says Hyland Inn Motel clear in the front. I went past it and thought I went into the wrong spot and turned around and left, only to find out I was in the right spot. Other than these few things, it was a good place to stay.

It's unfortunate that the rating scale wasn't finer. May rating of good would have been betwee good and excellent. The room was new and in excellent condition but relatively small. If space to spread out is not what you need - this would be an excellent choice.

In a nice walkable area in Brea. We had a double queen room Bathroom area was very small no privacy when sharing with someone. There water pressure was terrible. No towel rack or hooks
