You get what you pay for.

The place is a bit rundown and needs some TLC. You shouldn’t expect a five-star hotel, but you get what you pay for. For about a hundred bucks a night on a weekday, you shouldn’t expect a fancy place. Honestly, I’m not really a motel person. I wish I had splurged the extra 100 bucks to stay somewhere nicer, but I didn’t have any issues there. The pro is that it’s super close to Knotts Berry Farm, and there are tons of food options nearby.

Beds are uncomfortable and move around so easily, bleach stains on cover and blood or coffee on top sheet. No do not disturb signs for us to opt out of cleaning for privacy, cleaning supplies left behind in our room. Shower is awful and unventilated, leakea and makes entire bathroom wet. Door is ubsealed so allows for a lot of light, draft and sound to come in.

The employees at the front desk were nice & helpful but the room was terrible. This place is kind of ran down. When you walk in the stairway, it smells like marijuana. There is only 1 ice machine which you have to go to the front desk and ask for ice. The room & the refrige had a wierd smell to it. We had to spray a lot of perfume inside to take away the smell. There was a half dead roach on the floor. If you got back to the hotel late at night, you will have a hard time finding parking. Some people also parks over the lines due to parking spots being small. This was on of the worst place we ever stayed at. Not worth the price that they charge. We will not stay here ever again.

Good and not so good...

I am struggling to write this review. I felt welcomed, and the area was quiet and felt safe. However, this appears to be an older property in great need of maintenance, some of which appears to be minor. The main issue was whatever air freshener was being sprayed. It was overwhelming and difficult to air out. There were no places to charge anything on the nightstands. The TV was down to one channel after the first night. The floors evidently hadn't been mopped in some time. The bathroom faucet was dripping. An electrical outlet almost immediately overheated my charger. All said, the bed was comfortable and it was a convenient area to where I wanted to go. Would I stay here again? I don't know. I let the front desk know of these issues, and the gentleman was gracious. I'm not able to upload photos for some reason.
