Beautiful place. Exceeded expectations with amount of room, beds, and amenities. My husband and I play several other couple friends stayed for two nights over the new year holiday. My husband brought his chrome cast to connect to the TV to guarantee we could get all the football games. Sadly the tide was high during all the daylight hours so we couldn’t walk on the beach, but hope to return and get to do that another time. The owners live on the same street, so when we called for help with the TV and fireplace they came right over. FYI Hot tub is the whirlpool tub in the master bedroom upstairs not an out door hot tub. Also they put the gas fire pit away for the winter.

The water filter for the main system was 3 years old and should be changed at least yearly.The water filter for the refrigerator ice and water was 5 years old and also should be replaced every 6-12 monthsWe ended up purchasing drinking water as the tap water was unpalatable.The property manager lived next door had a contractor doing exterior work from 7 am-till we asked him to stop at 8 pm.There was power saws,routers and loud radio noise constantly for all 5 days of our stay.The filtration system lack of maintenance is a definite public health issue and the construction noise was an inconsiderate property manager.If we had known about these issues we would have booked a different property.It was a very disappointing vacation experience.

This home is just beautiful. Very clean and many amenities. Gorgeous views our family had a lovely relaxing time and our grand girls enjoyed paddle boarding walks on the beach and in the state park works exceptional. I would like to add that the outdoor furniture and gas grill Have been well used and are a bit wobbly and uncomfortable.We would definitely vacation in this home again!

We stayed for 3 weeks at this amazing location! The home is spacious, clean, had everthing you could need, and the views and atmosphere were absolutely stunning! From early morning sunrises and coffee... to sunset cocktails and gas fire pit... you will never get tired of the views and relaxation! We saw Seals every day and on the few days when it did rain or was overcast, there is an inside fire place that is cozy and makes for amazing movie nights and family time!We loved every minute, the owners were responsive and friendly and we would gladly stay here again! We made memories that we will cherish forever!

I came her for a girls getaway reunion with 5 friends from college. The house was perfect with plenty of space, well appointed kitchen, and beautiful views! Check in was super easy as the host was next door and came to let us in. We never left the property once checked in! We were hoping to make s’mores at a fire pit but that wasn’t available when we were there. Regardless we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!

Great getaway

We had the best time. 8 lifelong friends enjoyed the house so much. There was plenty of room for all of us and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom worked great for our friend that needs handicapped access. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking. The beach walking was fantastic and we found the most beautiful rocks. We were able to kayak and paddleboard when the tide was in. The only downside was the beautiful patio doors were not working but they will be fixed for the next guests.

So amazing! Never wanted to leave!

The house is just magical. I could never get tired of that view or walks on the beach. The house was perfect for our "girls" weekend. We baked bread, cooked meals, and spend hours gazing at the water while doing craft projects and chatting. The beds were comfortable and the views from the bedrooms were just as magical as the view from the living room. Wish I could live here.

Ringing in the New Year!

This was a lovely location in a beautiful home. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and the fabulous view. We hiked in the area and played games in the houseand found good food nearby.Master bed was so comfy; other beds not so much. The open floor plan did not allow for much sound isolation - a bit of an issue with our teens. The 3rd floor beds were dusty from disuse. In such an elegant home, we were surprised to find no Kleenex tissues and to find few and low quality towels in the bathrooms.

Great getaway!

The home was great for our group! The home had a very large and well-equipped kitchen for cooking and gathering around the kitchen island. We felt like we were living on the water itself with the close proximity to the water/beach, wind, breeze and the like. Very lovely place to stay with friends/family...

Perfect vacation getaway

My family and I loved our time here. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. We spent a lot of time outside watching the boats and wildlife. My husband and kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. The bbq doesn’t look great but works fine. We bought and left a few extra bbq tools for others to use. The views of the water were amazing from every room. We hope to come back!

Beautiful home and location, but accomodations uncomfortable.

Beautiful home with a lot of potential. I have stayed at many VRBO's, and this is the first that showed lack of care. Only 1 bed, the master bed, was comfortable, the others were so hard it interferred with my quests sleeping even for the children. This is a problem I have never ran into when renting on VRBO. Oddly communication was difficult, my emails with questions and texts were never returned. When we arrived there was a mix up and the house was not ready, they did quickly work to get us in which I appreciated and they offered an extra night free which was very kind. But in staying, so much on the surface is visuallly nice and pretty but more deeply it is unkept, dirty drawers, greasy utensils, sticky knobs, rugs unwashed, no propane for BBQ, no paddle board, no kayak, no outdoor shower and last day no hot water. I have never written a negative review but these issues wore on me, particularly the hard uncomfortable beds. Most easily fixable, and such a beautiful location and home, hope they do something for their future renters.

Spacious, gorgeous, relaxing week with friends

Its a beautiful house right on the water. There is a whole wall that opens all the way up, and we spent hours talking in the living room and gazing out at the bald eagles, seals and herons. Most properties on this stretch are not rentals and it is a nice community. They have a SUP (which we didn't use) and 2 kayaks which we did use. The owner lives next door and is very helpful and responsive. Big, well stocked kitchen.

The Perfect Place
