We were disappointed in this hotel. I stayed at it years ago and remembered it fondly (especially the old bank features), but it seems to have fallen off significantly. It just doesn’t feel… welcoming. The lobby is dimly lit (staff are very nice though, no complaints there) and an armed guard out front actually managed to make us feel less safe. The rooms were depressing. Very thin walls and the door between our conjoined room was concerningly thin. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and enjoy being in the city… but this place just wasn’t for me.

Stayed one night. Hotel sadly smells dingy and of old cigarette smoke even though signs state 100% smoke free. Great staff and great location. Breakfast was OK. I would not bring kids here it just isn't family friendly.

Our room was not very clean, the tub was dirty, the floors were dirty, you could tell the coffeemaker hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. The elevator was scary, old building that needs a lot of work to make feel fresher. No lobby to hang out in. Did enjoy the views from our room onto the city from the 11th floor. The gym was very outdated & too wsrm to work out in. Basic things like tissues & soap were missing from our room when we checked in.

For an older building it was remarkably clean and well maintained. Thought it was strange that it didn't have a restaurant. But then only 2 blocks away was a large variety of restaurants to choose from! All staff very accomodating

I chose this Holiday Inn Express because of the low rate on Expedia and the property’s proximity to the House of Blues where I was attending a concert. The hotel is also easy to get to via the RTA red line train from the airport to Tower City station which is a short walking distance to the hotel. The front desk staff was very courteous, efficient, and helped answer my questions about the services available such as luggage storage which they do provide. My room was more spacious than I expected, was clean when I arrived, and the bed was very comfy. I’d definitely stay here again for future visits to downtown Cleveland.

The room was clean and had a cool view. The AC didn’t work perfectly (but we figured out turn it off and on again rebooted it). Comfy bed and we had a jetted tub which was very nice. The free breakfast was a great way to start the day. The staff there was super friendly and accommodating. One of them even remembered us from last year!

Staff was great. Only had one of four elevators working in a 15 floor building. Wait times were ridiculous to get out of the building during peak check out time. Breakfast buffet was good. Ice machine on our floor (12th) was broken, but the wait time for elevators made it a huge headache to go get ice. Room was clean, bed was comfy & showers water pressure was amazing!!
