We ordered the loft 'family suite' which I believe Expedia should not offer as an option.
The only adult bed was in the loft while the main level contained a small sofa bed only suitable for children. Expedia didn't include a single picture of the beds (that would have been helpful in not choosing this room).
Keep in mind there's absolutely no space upstairs for even a carry-on suitcase. The steps to the top level are extremely steep and good luck in trying to navigate those steps if you need to use the facilities at 3:00 a.m.
However the absolute reason this room is unlivable is due to the fact that the thermostat is located on the main floor, that's where the only vent for the room is located, also, there is no ceiling fan.
Even though it was 10° outside (50 f), The loft area was stiflingly hot. We cranked the AC but the problem with that is that our daughter was "freezing". This room cannot accommodate people staying at the top and bottom levels at the same time.
This setup would never be allowed in North America, The steep stairs alone would not pass code and are an accident and lawsuit waiting to happen.
Otherwise, we did find the hotel location poor. It's located on the waterfront, which in this area is fairly desolate. We were also surprised by the fact that there was no gym.
