A nice getaway

I've always seen this old hotel and wanted to see the inside. My simple queen room was very nice. The ceiling mounted showerhead was my favorite part. The bed was a little soft.

Beautiful hotel in a good location, walkable to many downtown sites. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with great sustainable products. Loved the small balcony access on our room on the 9th floor. The gym was small but reasonably functional. Comfortable and welcoming Reading Room in the lobby area. Restaurant service was wonderful and food was great except one chicken dish was too salty. Breakfast burrito option in the morning is recommended. I would recommend having decaf coffee as an option in the lobby as well as the regular coffee that was available. We really appreciated the car service which was quick and reliable. The valet parking was expensive but there were no other more reasonable options. Overall, a great experience with the staff being a standout feature.
