This was a nice room. Beds were comfy. Room had usual amenities. It had no AC but there was a ceiling fan and a free standing fan. Those worked well to cool the room off when the balcony slider was open but the traffic noise was pretty loud with that door open. All in all it was a great location.

Receptionist was super friendly. Beds were okay pillows were soft. Rooms get super hot no ac so we had to leave doors open. Breakfast offered was subpar. Floors must be thin cause you can hear every little thing in the floor above you. Overall the stay was fine for the price.

Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Beautiful view. Would have been nice if the electric fireplace worked but room was comfortable and clean.

Very disappointed

Bed comfort was good. But itchy. I sleep in microfiber blanket. Sliding glass door to balcony was hard to lock. Due to a raccoon and bees I had to keep the sliding door closed. It was hot and there was no screen on the door. There was a ceiling fan and floor fan available which help but not the same as the ocean sounds and fresh coast air. The direct TV had no movie channels available and the tv had no dvd player or connections to add one. Other than a few cob webs and cracked flooring which I could stop stepping on (Ouch) the spa tub was nice! Oh and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed so I had to hold it or let the floor get wet. So no I won’t chose this hotel again. Sadly.

The room was nice and clean. I love that we have Ocean view. The think that I dont like is that they charge my credit card more that 400 dlls when I already pay for the room to Expedia.

The room itself looked nice, but there were a few things that bothered us. There was quite a bit of hair in the jacuzzi tub, which was a little gross. The biggest complaint was that we could hear everything that was happening in the room above us. I think they were just walking around, but every foot step literally shook the ceiling. They were up all night which meant we were up all night. Also, the room was insanely hot. I don’t know if there isn’t A/C or if it wasn’t working, but it felt like a sauna.

Good getaway

Very peaceful. Traded ocean view for jacuzzi tub. -- shower curtains didnt close on either end, bonus, no water spraying out everywhere. Steep hill going up to parking lot. No matter, peaceful getaway in good location between Newport and Lincoln City. Slept real good, so bed not super hard or soft. Very comfortable. No frills, no thrills, place. Very basic place with basic essentials. No freezer in fridge.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Floor had very obviously not been cleaned but staff responded promptly to my request. Property is right across from water so had a nice view. Unfortunately, hwy 101 runs thru right out front so quite noisy with traffic. I had earplugs. Good dining options and walkable commercial district right there. Very nice lady in reception.

I stayed in room 201. Not good sleep. The outside light was right out side my room shined right on the bed. Even with curtains closed it was supper bright. Was not able to enjoy the evening on the balcony. The light was right on the balcony.

There's no a/c in the hotel. Good thing it wasn't hot outside! Also room had coffee available but didn't offer cream or sugar/sweetener.

When I booked my reservation I was told that my card would not be charged until I checked in. I got a phone call 5 hours prior to check-in time telling me my card had been declined & my reservation would be cancelled if I didn't pay within 30 mins. I explained it was a debit card, not a credit card & I would be making a deposit into my account in about an hour. The front desk person was EXTREMELY rude. She gave me an email address for her manager that didn't work & she hung up on me 4 times while I was attempting to fix the situation. The last time I tried to talk to her she told me that my reservation had been cancelled & I would need to make other arrangements. So I made reservations at a different hotel & before I had left home I discovered that Travelodge had charged my card anyway, the second I made my deposit. My bank will be opening a fraud case against them as soon as the charge posts & I will NEVER have anything good to say about them. She charged my card only 45 minutes after telling me that she had cancelled my reservation & then hung up on me before I could respond. Incredibly unprofessional!

This hotel is in a convenient location, close to the little town center where you can walk, dine and shop. We have stayed at this property twice when we have gone on a fishing charter early in the morning. The rooms have the basics, some beds are comfortable and some are very firm. The rooms now have ceiling fans and tower fans, which is so very nice on those warm summer nights. Due to the hotel being right on the 101 and the sliding glass doors of all rooms facing it, the noise level is so high you really can’t have the doors open at night. The view from the rooms are very nice. There are shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower and at the sink, however our body wash was empty, so obviously it is not being checked. There were also dust bunnies under the desk and the shower head was very loose in the wall.
