We really enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise. It's a lovely condo - very well-stocked kitchen as far as appliances, utensils, pots/pans, cooking equipment. All of the beds are really comfy, and everything is super clean. The location is near a large commercial area, so you can walk to restaurants & stores to get essentials. The beach is about 1 mile away, so walking is possible, but if you're carrying gear, you'll probably want to drive there.Pool is lovely - hot tub is VERY hot. I brought our three adult children and their significant others; we all had a really great time! We would stay here again anytime!

We recently visited Destin, FL and stayed at the Tequila Sunrise property in the villages of Crystal Beach. Our accommodations were wonderful - the property was spacious, beautifully decorated in a low-key beach theme and clean, with very comfortable beds! Check in and check out was efficient. It was a wonderful experience.

Perfect for our group of 10

Nice clean place near the beach. Easy access, great neighborhood pool. Great communication with property manager. Would have been nice, considering what you're paying, if more trash bags & TP were included.

Nice home, but needed to be better cleaned, bed was old and loud.

We enjoyed our stay, but we found ourselves cleaning up because it was not cleaned well. Hair all in bathrooms, bedrooms and even the steps and couch. King Bed upstairs is the loudest bed I have ever heard. If you moved positions in it, everyone in the house could hear it.

Perfect Location and Place for Family

The location is great, just a couple blocks from the beach in one direction and shopping, retail in the other right off the main road and bridge. Several grocery store options within 3 minute drive. The place itself is well laid out with master on first floor next to kitchen and two more rooms upstairs. Had plenty of room for all 7 adults. Parking for two large vehicles in the driveway. We didn't watch much TV since we were at the pool and beach the entire time. We did cook and the place had everything we needed for cookware. Grill is gas and was full, used it a couple times and worked perfectly. Decent amount of towels (we did a load or two of laundry). BRING: - condiments - extra paper towels and toilet paper - extra dish towels (not a big deal) - ice (fridge ice won't last with large party) - beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc... Contact was super responsive and courteous. Checked on us during our stay. We never had any issues. A few things might need to be tightened up here and there, just contact them and make note so you don't get charged. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.

Great place to stay!

We had 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and a baby in our party. It was a very homey environment where we could sit and relax, or cook or grill. The lagoon pool was great for the small children. It was a great vacation!!

Perfect Getaway!

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette party and it was wonderful! The place was very clean, it was close to the beach and was also very close to the Destin commons, which we frequently visited. We had almost everything we needed to cook (no spices) but we made it work and had a lot of fun!

Somewhat disappointed.

Cheap and minimal supplies provided. Globe on ceiling fan was broken, not noted to us and not replaced. There was no broom provided to sweep anything. Parking was for 2 cars and extra parking was supposed to be available but was always full. On Thursday of our stay we experienced a water leak in the ceiling over the kitchen. A maintenance person checked it out and there was nothing that could be done to stop the leak in the short term. No one from the property management contacted us or apologized for the inconvenience. Since we had 5 kids under 7 we decided to leave the property a day early because it was a bit much to work around in the kitchen. For the money paid I was disappointed overall.

Very nice place, great location!

We were happy with our stay. Loves the first floor master bedroom. Thought of most everything when it came to what was needed for the kitchen. We LOVED the margaritaville machine! The floors were sandy on arrival, but home was otherwise pretty clean. We would stay here again!

Extended Family's first vacation in 10 years!

The house was conveniently located within a gated area of similar homes, with a nice large community swimming pool and courtesy shuttle to the beach. Be sure to bring everything you need, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, folding chairs for sitting out on the driveway (there is no backyard), spices for cooking, dish towels (they only provided 1), etc. They did provide plenty of bath towels and with the on-site washer/dryer we could do laundry, but 1 dish towel for 11 people is not enough. We also bought a broom to sweep up the sand. They provided a mop and a vacuum, but we prefer a broom. Also, bring extra $ for the beach. You have to setup your own chairs/umbrella within a small area marked by cones away from the water, behind the lifeguard stand. If you want to be near the water, you have to pay $60 for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella, to the beach attendants, for 5 hours. The listing says it accommodates 11, but it would be more comfortable for 9. One of the beds in the room with 2, was so LOUD it made it impossible for all 4 people to sleep. While the mattress was comfortable, we could not rollover or get out of bed without it sounding like we were getting up from an air mattress. My daughter who was sleeping in another room, thought it was someone spraying whipped cream out of a can. I know it sounds weird, but that does kind of describe the noise.

Overall ok

Great communication, but floors sandy on arrival. Downstairs bedroom fan does not work and living room tv did not work. I expected condiments and enough toilet paper for the week. No condiments and 4 rolls of toilet paper for 8 women for 5 days. The community was very nice and the pool is beautiful. I hope this helps.

Good but needs some worm

The property is very nice and well located—1/2 mile, 7-10 minute walk to beach mostly on sidewalks. The beds were comfy and plenty of hot water for many showers. But the house would benefit from having a handyman come in for a few hours to: fix the towel bar that fell off, fix the 1/2 bath faucet from always dripping, tighten the kitchen faucet so it doesn’t wobble back and forth, work on the fridge so the water dispenser dispenses (it did not at all), fix the dishwasher top rack which was separated from its track, tighten the toilet paper dispensers in each bathroom which were all loose on the wall. Also, there are bracelets provided for the very nice community pool (heated very well) but a placard states there will be a $15 charge if less than 11 bracelets are left behind on the counter, but 11 were not provided in the first place. Finally, the floors were dirty. Loose sand might be expected but it was more than that—the floors left white socks black, and stained the bottom of bare feet—it needs a good mopping.

The cleanliness of the house was not up to standards! Had to have them come out after check in as the floors were very dirty. Could have been much cleaner.

Family vacation

Great neighborhood and pool. Manageable walk to the beach. House comfortable and spacious enough for 11! Would stay again.

Great house for large family

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tequila Sunrise and Destin. Great house, good location. The beaches are beautiful. Had a fun time at the pool. House was clean and had all we needed.
