Love staying here when I am in Dublin. Great location, food is really good and the staff are excellent. I arrived just after 12pm on my most recent stay and my room was ready. This happens every time I visit. If you want somewhere that is good value and central enough to Dublin City Centre, you can’t go wrong with the Clayton in Ballsbridge. I’ll be back again! Oh and they have lots of parking at very reasonable rates for guests.

Clean, lovely

The hotel was very nice and they were accommodating to your needs. There is a lovely bar downstairs with very nice food, however some dishes small. There were fancy meals but also home comfort meals, making it a wide selection to choose from. It was very clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend to stay as walking distance to many areas if Dublin (as taxis can be expensive)

Great hotel and location

A fantastic location for me attending the Catex show, that was only a few minutes walk away. Beautiful looking building and very modern and opulent inside. Good room size and facilities. Nice public areas and service. Highly recommended.

The room heater was not working, and despite calling maintenance three times, they failed to fix it. They also didn’t provide a space heater, leaving me to sleep in a room with a temperature of around 15°C. The maintenance staff displayed a careless attitude.

Poor Value and customer service

Travelling for work - very poor value in the restuarant in fact the poorest value hotel I have ever had in 17 years of travel for work - worldwide. I highlighted this twice to staff but as expected no one really cared. Very disappointing as I generally enjoy the Clayton in every other location. Carpark is awkward also and too expensive. Lino in bedroom is alio strange. My advice is to avoid or take your own food.

This was our first time staying at the Clayton Ballsbridge. The buildings architecture is stunning. We enjoyed our stay - the room was comfortable and quiet. The lower lounge area was beautiful and the restaurant was nicely set up. The staff were helpful and polite.
