Older property but decently remodeled. Room & beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was a turnoff as it was in attached restaurant which was dark & old. Coffee was terrible & food options poor.

After I booked I was sent a message that breakfast would be modified and hot tub was closed. We went to breakfast the next morning, they had some frozen Lender's bagels(6), 4 pieces of white bread and a handful of prepackaged muffins. A waffle iron was available, but the batter dispenser was empty. It was 7:30 am and breakfast started at 7 am. Also some unspecified dry cereal. We went across the street to Mary Ellen's Portuguese Bakery. The bakery was amazing! The hotel should give out vouchers for breakfast instead of embarrassing themselves with the low effort they put into their "breakfast". We attempted to go to dinner and drinks at the hotel. When we walked in we were told we could stay but they had no bartender so we could only have beer or wine. We decided to walk to another restaurant. The bright spot of the hotel was the man at the front desk, Trudane was an absolute joy and had several recommendations about where we could go for dinner. He had a pleasant demeanor and a friendly smile. The hotels location was walkable to restaurants. The pool was adequate, no towels available. I recommend bringing your own towels as the 24 hour front desk often had a sign with a phone number to call for help. No maid service was offered, again call the phone number if you need anything! The room was ok. It was February vacation and I feel they should have been prepared for guests.

Steamship was canceled for 24hrs, The hotel accommodated 50 /- of the people standed. Only 1 gentleman was at the front desk. He was able to multi task, released room, booked rooms, spoke to 3rd party vendors and smiled the whole time.

The keys to my room did not work. At first I was told "turn the handle the other way". This did not work. While reception re-made the keys I attempted to use the toilet - unusable because no flush, cistern was empty. I was moved to another room which was fine.

Good value for money, convenient stay

We came to Falmouth for a concert and stayed overnight during the winter off-season. I was hesitant about choosing Falmouth Inn after reading some of the Hotels,com reviews, but decided to give it a shot. I’ve stayed in 250+ hotels over the past 20 years, so figured it couldn’t be that bad. I have no idea what some of these negative reviewers were talking about. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The building was clean and well-maintained, for an older, basic hotel. Parking was easy and the surrounding area was safe. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and we both slept well. The blackout curtains, heat, hot water, and WiFi all worked just fine. Breakfast was basic - coffee, juice, bagels, toast - but what do people expect from a free hotel breakfast - a Michelin starred epicurean adventure? It was fine, and the breakfast space was clean, bright, and spacious. Overall, we felt like it was an excellent value for the money, and a good, comfortable place to stay for the night.

Nothing was unique Breakfast was awful...and antiquated waffle maker that beeped for 10 minutes delivering a cardboard flavorless waffle unedible...no eggs or sausage just a few small bagels and bread and prepackaged muffins.
