Definitely a good stop before a cruise. We enjoyed the happy hour and free breakfast and my kids loved the Koi fish. As others have mentioned, the staff seemed stretched thin. It was hard to get towels by the (unheated) pool and when I had to take my shivering three year old in to ask I couldn’t find a staff member willing to help so we had to go all the way to the front desk. There was a shuttle service to the cruise terminal for a fee with a third party in the lobby for those wondering.

Could use a renovation. Many room maintenance issues in all four of our rooms. But good location and breakfast is a plus. Pool was nice. The “Happy Hour” is crazy crowded and could be more organized. All in all, it was exactly what we needed for. Two day pre cruise hotel.

Liked the convenience of dining and shopping within walking distance. I disliked the understaffed front desk. Seemed like there was always a long line to speak with someone. I am a multiple returning customer and I am disappointed they do not serve grits anymore at the breakfast buffet.

I have stayed at other Embassy Suites and this one is on a par with the others. A little hectic with the cruise ship passengers staying at the property. Some of the elevators were inoperable at times.

Perfect for what we needed.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed a couple of days in Fort Lauderdale after a cruise. Location was excellent for both the ship port as well as the airport. We were able to walk to a couple of excellent restaurants for dinner. The customer service was OUTSTANDING! Our flight was delayed four times and Cynthia was able to assist us with a late checkout and helped navigate options if needed. She was fantastic. The only real issue was breakfast in the morning. My recommendation is get there early or expect a wait. The food was good with plenty of options. We have already booked here for our entire family for this coming December and another cruise we are going on.
