The renovations are looking good, with just a few things that are off. Pros- all of the staff were friendly and helpful! New bed was comfy, cable worked and the room had everything I needed for a quick stay. Cons - An outlet that didn't work, bad lighting, a gap at the bottom of the door and a leaky fridge. The tub was obviously new, but still had the installation stickers on it. The faucet in the tub was loose. Bad pillows. I didn't have the breakfast but it looked good!

This place was lacking in every way. Despite being listed as amenities, the fridge, tv, wifi, and even lamps didn't work. We called to the front desk with our cells - because there's no phone in the room- and were told that it would be fixed by the manager in the morning. The manager could have also fixed the cobwebs, pubes on the bathroom floor, the towel rack that was falling out of the wall, the exposed wiring in the bathroom and the power strip that the moldy broken fridge was plugged into, and the tiny thin wool blanket that was the only bedding available. We went to the front desk in the morning and requested our second night stay be canceled. We were told that only a manager could do that but they would be in in the morning to handle it, which we requested a call back to confirm. Of course, that didn't happen either. I have no idea if I was refunded for my cancelation at this point because the manager turned handyman was MIA the entire time and refused to speak to us.

The room only had 1 small light that worked. The room had a smell, maybe from the carpet. The toilet had been used, which made us wonder about everything else being clean. As 2 older ladies, we did not feel very safe. So, we canceled and continued on our way. The clerk was extremely nice and said it had only been under new management for 2 weeks, and was being renovated, so maybe it will be better in the future.

Front desk assistance was great. Very friendly & extremely helpful. Quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast was good but limited on food to choose from. Not a bad stay considering the great rate offered for stay. Overall, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars and would recommend for short stay.

There was little to no hot water to shower. There was no in-room coffee. There was no grab bar to enter the shower / bath tub. The refrig & microwave worked well. There were no donuts or eggs or healthy cereal at breakfast. The breakfast started at 6:30 & should start earlier, if there is no coffee in the room.

Nice room, had a clean odor. Towels were thin and dinghy. Refrigerator fell out every time we opened it and the top of it had about an inch of dust. Staff was very sweet and nice.
