Cute, comfortable, little auto court -- beautifully updated while retaining the charm of the era when it was built. -- This area is lovely - and everything convenient, within walking distance. Downtown Nevada City has great restaurants and shops -- also retaining the charm of past eras.

Comfortable and unique place to stay.

Quiet, peaceful place. Different than a hotel, motel, or a bed and breakfast. I would read or work on my computer outside. Perfect place for solo travelers and couples. I will be back. Unique place to stay.

I stayed in Daphne, a cute single room. Perfect for just me and one night. Very clean, plenty spacious. My only complaint was that it was very bright in the room all-night due to lights outside & curtains that werent black out.

We really enjoyed the cottages. We styed in the Spruce cottage but saw that the other carport had firewood so we are assuming the other cottage has a fireplace. We hope to stay in that cottage next time and have friends join us for a nice long weekend in the winter Otherwise, we loved our experience. So quaint and convenient. We had a great experience.

Fantastic place! Clean, attractive. This has been recently renovated and is great. In the 60’s, this was Feil’s soda fountain and motel. Went to the fountain when I was in middle school and high school.

This property is one of a kind! By far one of the cleanest places I have stayed and so welcoming. We had a mix up with our reservations so we only got to stay 1 night instead of 2, in the Daphne cottage but it was wonderful. I wouldn’t recommend walking into town from the cottages, it’s a bit of a walk, down hill going but up coming. But a very short drive, we drove into town twice and it was worth it. The manager or owner, not sure which, but she was a delight, helpful from the second I realized something was wrong with our reservation and even more so to help fix the problem! Even noticed our room was still rather cold around 10pm and brought us a space heater…it was a cold evening. I’ll definitely be looking forward to staying here again and they’re dog friendly if you need it!
