Staff was amazing Tim at the front desk was very welcoming and informative. Morning breakfast staff went out of their way to help us and another family with 5 children. The stay was perfect we had dogs and kids. No problem. They have a courtyard with fire pit and grills. Kids liked the pool. Room was nice.

It was a busy weekend so parking was tight, but we really enjoyed our stay. Visiting our son at GVSU which was an easy 25 min drive and we enjoyed our time both here and in Holland. Staff was great, kids loved the pool and hot tub (although it was HOT, lol). We definitely will be back at some point.

Great hotel stay

Being in a hotel like this one makes me and wifey only want to stay in a staybridge. Our last few hotel stays had something missing like, pool being closed, no mini fridge or microwave. This hotel had everything available. It was very comfy and clean. If we come back to Holland, MI, we will go back there.

While the location is well kept and we enjoyed a clean, well equipped room and I was very pleased to have the hot tub, it really is the staff there that made our stay great. I believe the front desk gent we interacted with the most is Eric, he was very helpful, but everyone was good. The lady who operated the breakfast buffet with a gent each day is an extremely hard working (never stopped!) and hospitable asset to the hotel.

Staff was very helpful and professional with problems and requests. While modernly appointed with comfortable beds and seating, some carpets and areas are stained and in need of refurbishment. There was mold in our walk in shower. Not many dishes in our kitchenette. Had to get cups from the breakfast bufffet just to have coffee in room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The first-floor 1-bedroom suite we were provided upon arrival was disgusting. It smelled of urine mixed with cleaning supplies. The bathroom walls were splattered with what I assume was dried urine. The suite had a lounge chair in the bedroom and there were ants crawling on the chair. There seemed to be mold or mildew on the ceiling above the wall vent in the living room area. It was awful. We requested a new room and got one right away, thanks to the helpful staff. The replacement room was on the third floor instead of the first. It smelled of mildew mixed with cleaning supplies, but the cleanliness was better and no bugs... I couldn’t shake feeling grossed out our entire stay. I felt itchy the entire time especially in bed. I will never stay at a Staybridge again due to this experience. I’m angry that I booked using Expedia and were forced to stay at this disgusting hotel with two children as we couldn’t get a refund. HORRIBLE. Additionally, the website stated we would have access to a free crib at check-in and I made a request on our reservation as well. We have an infant and a crib was a necessity. When we checked in at the front desk and I asked about the crib, the employee made it seem as though we might not be able to get one. He ended up “finding one,” but this added to some of my frustration. This place is advertised as being “kid” and “family-friendly” which is one of the main reasons we booked it, but that was not our experience.
