Exactly as described. Easy walk to all Old Town sights. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and supportive. They even have a backup generator (there was a fire in the neighbourhood and local power was out for a while). Only negative (unrelated to the hotel) is the aggressive marketing by the restaurants all down the block

The hotel is on a busy tourist street with lots of restaurants and shops on the ground floors so don’t expect any quiet till after 11. However, the restaurants are convenient overpriced. I talked to a host at one of the restaurants and he said you can get the same meal the next neighborhood over for 60% less. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The rooms are clean and the water got hot pretty fast in the shower. The hotel is a five minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, blue mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi.

The staff here was extremely friendly and welcoming. They had everything ready for me when I arrived. The room was nice and clean, they provided coffee and tea. The breakfast was large with lots of options, and very good.

I am doubting the Rating system at Expedia for this hotel, We booked and paid for a Superior Double Room (with a king bed), but upon arrival, we were given a standard double room. I explained the difference to the receptionist, and while it was clear he knew the difference between a queen and a king bed, he made it seem like it was my problem and insisted that all the beds were big. He admitted the hotel was full and promised to move us to a superior room later, but that never happened. No refund or discount was ever offered for the mistake, which was very disappointing especially since we were only staying two nights and our main reason for booking was the king bed. The room had issues: a broken shower holder, dirty towels (replaced with more stained ones), and bed linens my wife didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on. Housekeeping even removed our towels without replacing them. On the positive side, breakfast was good and the rest of the staff were polite and helpful. But overall, the experience was disappointing. wrong room, poor cleanliness, dismissive service, and no attempt to make it right.

Nice, basic property located a stone’s throw from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome. Staff was friendly, spoke English, and can help with tours. We loved the sunset Bosphorus cruise.
