Absolutely wonderful stay at the Roosevelt. The facility is beautiful and the staff wonderful. The rooms are slightly small, but that is to be expected in a city. I did hit my head on the shower (the bar that separates the door from the room is low, they could use a watch your head sign for tall people, my husband almost hit his head too.) The food is delicious. It is a five star hotel. Do be careful on Canal Street. I got to NOLA a lot but it seemed particularly bad this time.

The hotel is beautiful. Reminds me of the Titanic. It has everything you need in the room. The products are top line shampoo, cream, rinse, body wash and the coffee maker is Nespresso with real cups and cream and sweetener. Overall, it's a very excellent hotel. Our room was just a very small, but well equipped, and the view was a little to be desired.

The room had a dirty rag under the sink, hair in the bathtub and had old water bottle in the floor. We chose this hotel for amenities and safety and the Italian restaurant was closed so we had to leave the property to get food.

Poorly managed filthy hotel

The hotel.was filthy. The rooms were not clean regularly.The hallways were not cleaned during my stay. The cleaning staff spent the majority of their time on their cellphones in the hallways or talking with each other and groups of three or more. From my visit, It was Clear, there was very little cleaning being done. Additionally there was very little maintenance being done. The ice machine on my floor did not work and was never Repaired during my stay of Is five days. The management at this hotel did not address the issues.Nor did they seem concerned about addressing the issue. I Will not stay at This. Hotel. I may not stay at a hilton hotel again.
