Just a little worse than before

The most disappointing thing was that the breakfast has gone down a huge notch since the last time we were there two years ago. Also, they got rid of their Jacuzzi and filled it in with cement. That was really disappointing. It is still a fantastic location with a nice pool and right next to the Columbia river. The views were awesome. One of the nights we were there. There was a live band in the parking lot, which was really fun.

We have stayed here several times due to the closeness to restaurants and the view of the river. They have a good breakfast. Some of the rooms have been updated. The staff is nice

Nice view of the river and bridge. But overall it looks old, tired and worn. Walls and even bathroom seat had bumps and scratches, patio area around pool area had ashtrays and allowed smoking. They are remodeling. Hope it improves.

Nice large pool and deck. Hot tub wasn't working. Ice machine also out of order. I paid a little bit extra to have a river view room. Ended up with a first floor room with bushes in front of the window that obstructed the view. The doors at the end of the hallway into the parking lot were not secure and there were a few transients around the area so it would be easy for them to access the hallways. Rooms were a little bit shabby and dated but clean. Hotel offered free bikes to ride along the pathway on the river which was really nice. Breakfast buffet was just mediocre.

The view of the river is always going to be great. I left the room dark and the curtains open for a while each night to enjoy the lights on the water, the sky, and the lights from the opposite shore. Birdwatching was easy too and talking with early morning fishers as they cut up their catch in the spacious parking lot was a nice bonus. This hotel is pretty worn - furniture is beat and the desktop was covered with some sticky substance that made it unuseable - but the renovation is underway. The breakfast was as minimal as I've ever experienced anywhere, luke warm scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage and a choice of bagels or waffles. There is room to do a better job over the course of the 3 hrs. food is available but for whatever reason they don't. The advertised restaurant was closed due to the renovation but I only learned that upon arrival and the 2 nearby restaurants close at 8 so I went hungry my first night. This was not disclosed when I booked through Experdia though it's highlighted on the hotel's actual website. The location was my main reason for staying here because it's the closest hotel to the senior community where my mother-in-law lives so I had no reason to do more than sleep here but I probably would not recommend this hotel for anyone seeking more out of their accomodations.

The staff were not very kind, attentive or good with customer service skills. It was not a welcoming feel for hospitality at all. There was mold all around the bath tub that someone tried to cover with caulking. I loved the location and free concert and the pool was okay. My husband loved fishing off the dock, but the property overall was dilapidated and I hope the upgrades improve it.
