VÀldeligt trevligt stÀlle med en riktigt fin och varm service. Rummet i dalahuset var fint men inte helt perfekt stÀdat. Dessutom var det vÀldigt lyhört och vi stördes av de som bodde ovanför oss. Men summeringen Àr ett fantastiskt stÀlle, vÀrt ett besök!

Our family at Gammelgarden

It's such a gorgeous inn but we came and went without feeling any warmth from the staff. Literally no one welcomed us or bid us goodbye. We had to break the ice with the waitstaff. Perhaps that's what happens in a much larger chain hotel, but certainly not what one would expect from a cozy inn. It is the only thing that dampened our spirits during our first time in SĂ€len. They also should prepare some child-friendly meals, during lunch and dinner. But that is Yorker able compared to the general demeanor of the staff.

Fantastic!!!

We SO loved our stay at this very cute, historic hotel! The room was lovely & comfy. We enjoyed having a door to the outside too, so we could sit out there at the table & chairs. The hotel grounds were really well cared for & groomed. All the flowers were gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the historic ski area decor since we live in Colorado, which is ski country USA!

Gott, mysigt, bekvÀmt och trevligt!

Bra (ganska fasta) och breda sÀngar. Gott kaffe i automat. Fina, stora, fluffiga handdukar. TyvÀrr saknas en av dörrarna t duschkabinen sÄ det skvÀtter lite. Man kanske kan möblera om sÄ att bÄda sidor kan ha ett sÀngbord? Bra bastu, god frukost med fina varierade varor!

Litt kluss da vi kom der sent og nĂžkkel ikke var lagt ut som avtalt, men viste seg at det var folk tilstede, og det ordnet seg fint. Veldig hyggelig betjening. Supert opplegg med god ladeplass til bilen, fine og rene rom. Kaffemaskin med kapsler. Super frukost og smilende personale:)

En unik och oförglömlig upplevelse

Supermysigt stĂ€lle med unik lounge, öppen brasa och en varm, inbjudande atmosfĂ€r. Fantastisk middag med fokus pĂ„ vilt – vackert presenterat, unikt bröd och recept att ta med hem. Frukosten var otrolig med lokala specialiteter som björnkorv och hjortskinka, allt av hög kvalitet. Rummet var enkelt men mysigt, med mörklĂ€ggningsgardiner och tyst lĂ€ge nĂ€ra vandringsleder. Elbilsladdning var dyr – ladda hellre i nĂ€rheten. Vi har bott pĂ„ andra hotell i omrĂ„det, men inget slĂ„r GammelgĂ„rden. Rekommenderas varmt!
