Sheets were not changed before we arrived. Coffe maker did not work, air conditioner stopped working, on second they came and changed the thermostat, fridge made a high pitched sound, had to unplug it, foyer door would not close and lock it kept being slammed shut all the time by other people. On phone to contact front desk, all assistance came through texting. Other than these items the room was adequate.

The good: - A nice hotel with very large quiet and well equipped rooms. - Ocean front rooms have a great view. - Only a ten minute drive to downtown and lots of nearby shops within a 5 minute drive. - Well maintained grounds. - Convenient free hourly Shuttle to downtown - Nice pool and bar with great music and attentive service around the pool. - Soft white sand on the beach. The bad: - Extremely understaffed (except for pool bar). - Daily housekeeping not included. - No one answers the Guest Experience phone number provided at checkin. - Safe in room not working. - Rooms a little dated and in need of maintenance and refresh. - Free hourly shuttle sometimes too full to use (only 15 seats). - Hallways, corridors and parking lots accessible to the public, as none of the gates are locked and there are no security cameras. - There isn’t really a beach where you can actually swim or snorkel. - Most beach and pool loungers are quite run down and many are too broken to use. - Hot tub was not working during our stay. The verdict: - If you are looking for a large and very comfortable room with full kitchen, this might be the place for you. Just leave your valuables at home and throw in a couple of beach chairs in your trunk if you can. - If you are a couple that’s more interested in a hassle free stay, with access to comfortable lounge chairs, a working hot tub and guest services staff available to you if you need them, this might not be the ideal place for you.

Staff very courteous! We arrived very early- hoping we could at least chk our bags before going to lunch ( 2 couples- booking two rooms). Our friends' room was already available .We were told ours would be ready soon. We had a lovely, long, leisurely lunch at Chicken Walk. Our room still wasnt ready after lunch. We had to wait in the lobby for 1 more hour- until 4pm, to get our room. Obviously that is our official check in time- cant complain- except that our friends had been in their room for hours. Otherwise our stay was great. I loved the options for all 3 meals on site! Only dined out for 1 lunch- happily went back again to Chicken Walk. Loved the lovel light breakfast menu! TNT impressed us all!

Location was ideal. Lack of food choices, no coffee shop on site, confusing when first arrived to find your room. Example room 122a is not on the first floor it is in the second floor. 111 is first floor and 133 is third floor. They forget to tell you how to read the rooms and floors. Toilet ran all night, lots of lights out in outer suite, dryer did not heat up to dry clothes. Bed was hard as a rock. Nice place, friendly, clean. Just not rated 5 star

Staff was fine. The refrigerator was very old and extremely loud. Three of the tiles in the bedroom were loose! The jets in the spa were broken and no one was concerned enough to fix it! The lounge chairs were awful! I was charged DOUBLE the price on Friday and Saturday! Not to mention the taxes and the fees, which on Expedia it’s advertised as being waved! Also, you can’t go in the water even though you are by the ocean!

Parking fee is $25 per night, which is too expensive considering it's far from downtown. While rooms above our level had washing machines, the hotel didn't have a laundry room, so we had to go to a laundromat in town, which was inconvenient. I wish we'd stayed at a higher-level room, considering the price wasn't that different. The room's furnishings and atmosphere were luxurious, and everything else was comfortable.

The staff was great and very friendly. My only complaint is the shuttle service. Great service to offer but not accommodating at all when you have hundreds of guests saying at a resort and only offer ONE 13 passenger van to pick up and drop off every hour. We had to wait over 2 hours to get picked up on our third try because again, ONE 13 passenger van is not accommodating. Definitely need a better, more efficient system if you are going to offer that service.

Very nice place to stay! Shuttle to downtown was amazing being there and leaving on the hour consistently. The bathtub in the room was HUGE! Ceiling fan was very nice to have. It was cool to see wild chickens AND an iguana at thenpool area!
