Yes Maui is open!!! From covid to the August 2023 fires that devastated Lahaina on the west side, Maui people have been through a lot of pain and suffering, but Maui is open and now hurting for tourists. I’ve lowered my rates to help bring people back to the island I love. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. Upgraded ground floor Maui Vista Resort one bedroom condo #3104 is located in 'the quiet building'. . . the third building back from any Kihei Road noise. Plus thanks to the renovations that are almost complete to the nearby Coast Hotel, we even have an ocean view from the Lanai. The solid maple cabinetry is custom made by Decora. The bathroom has the same Hansgrohe wallbar shower found in many 5-star hotels; the tub is slip resistant and has a grab rail fork your safety. Importantly, this is one of the very few Maui Vista units with air conditioning in BOTH the bedroom and living/dining/kitchen area and units were replaced in 2016 and 2022. No other unit has this much cooling power which you'll appreciate when the tradewinds slacken. Regular steam cleaning of all the carpets and furniture every 6 months. All of the base furniture was updated in 2015 but has been regularly updated as needed since. Plus, we just updated the bed to a brand new King bed as of March 2022. And, a new chair, throw pillows and artwork in the living room in December 2022. As well, the hot water tank was replaced with an on-demand tankless unit in spring 2019 for continuous hot water. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and oven, microwave (updated in April 2024) dishwasher ~ plus all the utensils, cookery and dishes you'll ever want. The stacked washer/dryer is closeted neatly away. There's also a coffee maker ~ even a hair dryer. Freshly painted November 2017 with the ceilings painted April 2023. Newly carpeted throughout (2016), this condo also has a ceramic tiled kitchen, bath and lanai. High speed cable internet access is provided at no cost. And, of course, a big screen cable TV (new smart tv April 2024)and a Blueray unit. Famed Kamaole Beach 1/Charlie Young Beach is directly across Kihei Road opposite building #1. There is a slight walk after crossing the road (maybe 100 yards to a staircase down to the beach.) I provide beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and beach towels. Going out for dinner? There are restaurants within easy walking distance from fast food to fine dining. The gas-fired BBQ, scrupulously cleaned each morning, is within 100 ft. of your entryway. One of three salt water swimming pools on the property is within 75 ft. of the lanai. For tennis, and now pickleball, there are six individually enclosed Plexi-pave championship courts (two per building)that are just footsteps away. Racquet and ball rentals are available at the front desk but I also have some in the unit for your use. For golfers, the three world class courses at Wailea are just minutes away. Parking? It's on site and it's free.
