The AC/Heating unit can’t be redirected from hitting the person on the right side of the bed. The room was clean, but missing a chair and a luggage rack.

Clean room. No elevator or offer to help move luggage up stairs. One of the electrical outlets didn’t work. A pointed note at very little breakfast pointed out that they ordered supplies once a week and when they ran out there would be no breakfast. No sense of hospitality

Old badly maintained hotel, rooms were not clean, bathrooms had cracks all over, door was not closing properly, bedsheets were may be not cleaned , had wrinkles all over, carpets were stinky. Icing on cake, midnight false fire alarm caused our sleep and peace of mind. They charge around $100 per night may be a $40 day motel max. Never recommended for families, we somehow survived a day !!!

First of all, we when we arrived, we had a hard time determining if we were at the right place, because there were no lights outside. The parking lot was dark and unsafe to walk across. We told the clerk, and she had to call a manager to find out how to reset the fuse so the lights would come on. Also, we were not informed ahead of time that we would be required to pay a $100 security deposit when we checked in. Also, the room desperately needed updating and cleaning. The floor had not been vacuumed, the brass lamp was covered with corrosion, the sink surface was crackled, and everything was old. At 10:15 on our first night there, all the fire alarms went off, and all guests were told to go outside and wait while the fire department checked out the building. It was a false alarm, which the fire chief told us was caused by an old, faulty fire system. He said it has happened before. We also found out that a wing of the hotel is used by the town to house homeless people and the local government paid for them. We would never book a room at this hotel again. I do have to say that the staff was wonderful, the best part of our stay there.

The hotel was conveniently located of the NY Thruway. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel needs an overhaul. The rug in our room had to be over 40 years old. I cant say it was stained but the room had a musty old smell. The bathroom sink and tub were definitely from the 80s. No matter how much you scrub it wont come clean. We could hear the noises from the room above us. A staff member entered our room without knocking. The vending machines were empty. No water. Ive been to nicer budget hotels. This one was overpriced for what you got.

6/10. First the good. Clean room and a comfortable bed The bad. Don’t advertise free breakfast when all you’re are offered is instant oatmeal and a granola bar with watered down coffee. That’s not even worthy of a continental breakfast. Here’s a thought. Try vacuuming your hallways. Try hiring staff who actually make eye contact and at least say hello and welcome upon your arrival.

One thing that really irritates me is when room don't have complete coverage of the widows for privacy, but also for keeping the light out of the room so you can sleep in a dark environment. The neighbor had a very bright light that shined into the room making it hard to sleep.

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, just what you want when trying to get a good nights sleep. The “free breakfast “ consisted of watered down orange juice or lemonade, coffee some teas and pre made mini blueberry muffins. But I wasn’t looking for a great breakfast just a good hotel to stay in for a few days and not pay the expensive price it would have cost to stay in Woodstock.

Terrible is the word. Filthy is another. The carpets are a horror. Woke up in the night to find a mouse in the bathroom. Smelled nasty throughout, no elevator, the list goes on.

The room was a nice size. The duvet cover was slightly stained and needs a good thorough wash. The blankets and sheets and pillowcases on the bed were spotless, not a speck of lint, crisp and clean, no stains, so that was a huge relief. The basic chair in the room also had a slightly stained cushion, the dark navy and blue fabric of the chair and the color and fabric of the duvet cover on the bed hid a lot of infrequent cleaning. The bathroom was dated but clean. The faucet in the shower was just replaced and was very hard to operate to get the water to flow. We had to get the hotel staff involved because we felt we were using too much force to pull out the knob, we felt that we were going to rip it off if we pulled harder. But apparently that was needed since the faucets were new, as so we were told by the staff. The hot water was HOT, and if used full force it would have been too hot. So for all you lobster types that like hot boiling water for your shower, this place has it. The paint on the inside door of the bathroom was well worn and scuffed, lending to a bit of shabbiness to the feel of the hotel. The carpet in the room was vacuumed, but the carpet in the hallway and in the stairwell to get to the second floor is severely dirty and needs a deep steam clean. No amount of vacuuming will make the carpet appear clean. The dinginess of dirt needs a steam clean. The overall perception is that the hotel appears basically clean, but extra deep cleaning is required.

A little disappointed that upon my 7pm arrival my room was not ready, as cleaning staff I learned was virtually nonexistent at that hour...BUT the hotel manager (the only one working, alongside her trainee) rushed from the desk and cleaned the room herself, which I thought was first-class, above-and-beyond. Other than this, a perfectly fine stopover at a decent hotel.
