Lost booking locked room

4 night stay booked and paid in full 5 months previous, yet 2nd night in we did a full day trip returning after midnight to find we was locked out of room! Receptionist said we was a missing person and had no record of us! How is this possible when we checked in correctly with full details, we had to produce documents and passports again, she told us everything is sorted now and not sure why this happened, i asked if key would work and told again yes, following morning i went to reception as a gesture to make sure we was ok and still sorted,told again yes all good, on returning to hotel in afternoon key stopped working again ,same problem! Key was redone and they still could not explain why! I take medication and being locked out of room is a serious problem for me! It didnt ruin my holiday but staff seriously need to sort out the system, and also because of this,the room was not cleaned until night before we left as we had to requested this because rules says it would be cleaned every other day! For a park inn by radisson bathroom looked tired and tiles chipped in shower and floor was dirty on arrival! Im glad i got discount from this site or i would be asking for a partial refund. I dont usually do these kind of things but this was shambolic of the hotel and needs to take accountability!

All in all, it would have been fine if the receptionist had been more responsive. We arrived well after check-in time and the rooms were not ready. I saw a stand with water that said -pay at reception, I walked up, I was sent to the café. In the morning when I wanted to check out they were indifferent. The person gave the impression that she found the job difficult and did not like it.
