Unfortunately our stay never happened. After driving to the resort with 2 families, we went to check-in, only to find out that they didn't have a reservation for us, because they said Expedia did not create the reservation. Even though I had 5+ emails from Expedia with all of my reservation information and my itinerary number, etc. So we quickly had to find a different resort to accommodate us for the weekend. I will NEVER book through Expedia again!! Beware with booking through Expedia or any 3rd party booking services!!!

We stayed in the most reasonably priced room to get acces to moose mountain waterpark. Passes to moose mountain are an extra cost. I swear the listing said breakfast included, it was not. They expect you to take your trash to the dumpster at checkout. The room was hard to regulate temperature on the first floor. If the living area was comfortable, the bedroom was too warm. We even left doors open and turned on ceiling fans. The walls are paper thin. We could hear snoring in the room above us (there wasnt a room immediately next to us on that side). I could hear doors closing and walking in the room next to us. The shower didn't want to get warm either. There also was no vending or ice machines in our building. Room Positives: nice view and the room was in clean shape. Enjoyed the artwork. The waterpark was disappointing. I would say maximum age for enjoyment is 8yrs. There are only 2 big slides (1 tube, 1 body). There are not enough tubes, had long waits for tubes to do the tube slide (especially a double). The adult hot tub is pretty nice. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is always packed and people don't follow the over 6yrs old rule. The maximum age limit for kids to get enjoyment out of this park is 10yrs old. Even then, a half day is sufficient to get everything out of it. If you want a waterpark resort experience, you're better off going to great wolf in gurnee, IL or any indoor waterparks in wisconsin dells.

My room was very clean, which I appreciated. We booked a suite, but the first one opened directly into the bedroom, and being on the first floor, I didn’t feel comfortable with that layout. I requested a room change, and the staff handled it quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated. One thing that was a bit confusing was the inconsistency between suites—some had a full kitchen while others only had a range top. It would be helpful to know that in advance when booking. Overall, the stay was quiet and peaceful during the week, which was exactly what we wanted. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was completely different—lots of people, plenty of activity, and a lively environment. The only real downside was that the room felt drafty. We ended up putting a towel under the door to help block the cold air. Aside from those small issues, it was a comfortable stay with a good stay.

Be warned even though the main pic for this stay shows a waterpark, it is not included with this stay. The room was very nice and the hotel staff was lovely but our grandkids were very disappointed and we had to pay $30 per person/per day for a small waterpark that was is a separate location.

The property was very nice and the rooms were wonderful. They have a quiet time from 10:00pm / 6:00pm that they didn't tell my family about and security issue me a ticket I was very upset about it.
