when I stepped into my first assigned room, it was not yet cleaned at all. Dirty towels on beds and bathroom. Used coffee cup on TV stand. Used soap bar in bathroom. The manager re-assign another room after my reporting. The 2nd room is clean. no issue.

Room was clean. It did not have a microwave, but the staff promptly provided one when it was requested. The complimentary breakfast was better on the weekend. The weekday breakfast did not have eggs or sausage. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. I was so busy, I never turned on the TV, so can't comment on that. The indoor pool area was clean, although I didnt have a chance to use that either.

The staff was good. We had an issue with not having hot water to take showers in our room/rooms. The hotel was unable to move us to a room/rooms with hot water, so the manager said they would issue a refund for our two rooms. It has been a week with many calls, and the manager is not responding. Not sure how this business is run, but the manager should be looked upon as they are not running an honest representation of Best Western at Lake George!

The person that checked me in I don't think said more that 2 words. The base of the toilet needed to wiped down. There were white chips all over the carpet in the closet. I walked back to the reception desk which was a long walk as the phone wasn't plugged. His comment was some of the phones need to be fixed. I did finally find the cord to the phone on the phone behind the bed. One thing that really bothers me that may be trivial but the clock was blinking and after a long tiring day no one wants to figure out how to reset a digital clock

The room was clean and the heat worked. Some of the stuff looked like it needed to be dusted but everything else was very clean. Breakfast was good even though we got down there late. Plenty of options. We didn’t realize there was an indoor pool with a hot tub and an outdoor pool, so we didn’t bring our bathing suits. Our mistake. I’m sure it’s posted. My husband went and checked the hot tub at the time it would open and he said it was not hot. So I don’t know if that’s normal or not. Something I would ask at check in. Our key cards stopped working the following morning. But they were quick to fix it.

The room we checked in had hairs on the sheet and pillow, so we had to change to another room. The gentle man at front desk was very nice. But the smell of the room was not pleasant, we had to open the window for the whole night.

When we tried to check in an hour early the room was ready but it was going to be a $50 charge Needless to say we didn’t check in early When we got to our room the smoke detector was chirping and they had no one to check it Finally after an hour we were given a new room The bath towels were terrible
