The breakfast had several good options. The exterior was not inviting and needs sprucing up and swept. It just seemed dirty. Our shower leaked all over the floor and we had to use several towels to sop up the water.

I don’t know which rooms are in the pictures but my room was not like that. Basic motel room. It was clean. Mattress was old and very well worn on one side. Air conditioner is old and in need of a new filter. Breakfast was a waffle maker, microwave breakfast sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, bagels and toast. It did go to 10am which was nice. Ice and laundry was out of order. Parking lot is small. The room next to mine had a door that wouldn’t close correctly , maybe due to years of layered paint that needed to be sanded down so there was that all night. It is walking distance from the shops but it’s a dark walk at night. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s just not worth it.

The free breakfast was simple yet tasty, especially the waffles. The bed was one of the most comfortable places we slept on during our roadtrip. We were missing a hairdryer but the staff was able to find one, though it had screws sticking out of the back. The shower pressure does suck here but at least it’s sort of spacious.

Affordable Place if you don’t want luxury

It’s a budget friendly place if you need a crash pad. It’s in the middle of renovation and of course we get the non renovated room with stained yellow carpet. The bathroom is small with some hairs left from previous guest. The shower is tiny and barely enough room to move. I appreciated the dog friendly accommodation for $15 a night but it was so difficult to find a place for my dog to potty. The breakfast was good with yogurt, jimmy dean sandwiches, burritos, waffles, bagels and juices/tea/coffee. Go early or else there isn’t much leftover. We never got housekeeping service for the 4 days we stayed, but I guess we could have asked the front desk. The ice maker was broken and we told the front desk that said it would be fixed by the next day which it was working the next day but by nighttime it was broken again. I would not stay here again because it didn’t feel clean enough for me to walk barefoot. I’m sure it will be much better after renovations.

The hotel is in a convenient location, which made getting around quite easy. However, despite booking a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke that was hard to ignore. The room itself felt outdated and didn’t quite match the photos online. Breakfast was just okay — it could definitely be improved — though they did have a waffle machine and some pre-made sandwiches to warm up, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was manageable for a short stay, but there’s room for improvement.

Beware the evil smells

Beware, this place is about as bad as it gets. From the apathetic check into the dirty, smelly room with horribly stained carpets. If we weren’t so tired, we would have looked for other accommodation. Additionally, the listing stated that the facility had EV chargers. One of them was covered up, the other was blocked by a hotel employee’s car. Was this on purpose? The car remain there all night. We’ll never stay here again, and recommend, strongly, that you don’t either.

S. Lake Tahoe never misses

Had a great stay for a weekend trip, good location, walking distance to everything. Hard to be dissapointed being in South Lake Tahoe.
