Convenient and close to Lancaster

It was great place to stay. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Easy access to the highway and shopping centers. The outside was a bit outdated, nothing a coat of paint couldn't fix. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly!! Definitely will stay here again if in the area.

The property is a bit dated, but keeping that in mind, overall the property was great. The front staff was pleasant and welcoming. The water pressure was excellent and nice and hot!! We enjoyed the stay.

Spooky Nook for Volleyball

Stay was better than expected. Was nervous based on mixed reviews and dated appearance that we would have unwelcomed visitors (bed bugs). But we did not have any issues. Rooms were small but clean. Beds were comfortable. We were there for my daughter’s volleyball tournament at Spooky Nook. Breakfast was decent, they even made sure the team could grab and go before their first game despite breakfast not starting yet. The team thoroughly enjoyed the pool and a close place to bond over the weekend. Overall if we play here again next year I would stay here again! Thank you!

The only positive thing was the staff

There were remnants of a squished bug on the bedding. The hallway smelled strongly of propane. When I asked the gentleman at the front desk about it, he said it happens when they run the dryers. I expressed concern and he said that it was fine and it has been like that for 15 years. At midnight, we were awoken by the guest in the room above us taking a shower. It sounded like water was dripping from our ceiling. Upon further inspection, the sound was coming from inside the wall. While I was awake in the dark investigating the water sound, I noticed the lamp on the desk, which I thought was turned off because it was not emitting any light, started to intermittently flicker a weird green glow. I had to unplug the lamp. The gentleman at the front desk was great, and that was the best thing about our stay.

Super nice staff. It was convenient to the sports complex where we played. What I didn't like was that the only working ice maker was in the kitchen, only one working waffle maker, for the breakfast on Monday it was less than average for a busy holiday weekend.

Good for a short stay. The bathrooms are a bit small and the layout is weird and there is just a wardrobe but no closet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
