Great for access to Fremont St .. appreciate the free parking for guests. Resort fee is questionable. As there is no pool or other resort like amenities, but we still love staying here.

The service and staff were wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. I had a suite and it was very nice and spacious. I also payed for my adult children’s rooms in the Cabana suites and they were very nice. My daughters boyfriend liked how quite it was.

The properly is located in a very convenient area, reason why we decided on booking a room. However outdoor music does not stop till 4am, making it very hard to sleep would not recommend if youre looking for a place to rest at nigh, but definitely ok if you are just there to party. We went for a one day business trip. Rooms are motel style kinda sketchy looking.

Room was a little bit smaller than the pictures implied but there’s every chance we were allocated a type of room different than what was shown. Really liked the shower and housekeeping were lovely. Not as loud as I thought it would be considering its close proximity to the strip, would stay there again.

The room was not at all what I thought I was booking. There were no acurate pictures of the room. If I saw the room I was booking I would have picked a different type of room or a different propertly all together. Because I swear I thought I was booking one of the nicer rooms. The room I swear I clicked and booked was an Orginal 47 with two queen beds and instead I was given a room in the Pavillion, two queens. The first room we checked into didn't really look like it was cleaned; the shower was gross and there was a pastie covering the drain, candy behind the night stand and the AC didn't work. We did call about the AC and they moved us to a different room, I did request they pay me back for that night's amenity fee which the manager did and I was thankful for that. The new room was same quality but it was a little cleaner and the AC worked. The elevator to our room was dirty and looked liked there was stuff crusted onto the elevator panel.

I recommend this hotel

I prefer to stay at this hotel every time I travel to Las Vegas. Property is clean, rooms are charming, and it is a stone's throw to plenty of good restaurants and the Fremont Experience. Most importantly, I feel safe while staying at the El Cortez.

Great place for the price!

We had a great time, there were 4 of us and the room accommodated us perfectly. It is right off of Fremont Street so there is quite a bit of noise from outside. You’re in Vegas so that’s to be expected. Overall everything was great!

Extremely load in rooms from the rooftop bars across the street. Very annoying and the staff can't speak any English. They should know the basics any guest will ask on a daily basis. Ice Machine, what a washcloth and towel is. Bad management
