Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa offers 795 accommodations with iPod docking stations and minibars. The hotel itself was very nice and well-maintained. However, for being off the Strip, the pricing felt a bit high. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, one server at the on-site restaurant was extremely rude and clearly unhappy in her job, which changed my impression from an otherwise perfect staff experience. The pool hours were also disappointing — it closed at 5 p.m. despite the beautiful weather. The property was very clean overall, though there was a noticeable smoky smell throughout. The VIP area was comfortable, clean, and offered a nice selection of snacks.
