The signs to get to hotel registration are not clear. Only one sign for registration and is not visible until you are to the registration area. Elevators take a very long time. Hallways are very narrow. The rooms look a little run down specially the doors.

We were to meet friends for dinner at the casino. The desk clerk and valet people were nice. Went to smashburger for early breakfast. Out if bacon and sausage. Only had decaf coffee. Floor was littered and dirty. Hubby went to Cinnabon. Server never acknowledged him. Coffee from both places was terrible. Starbucks didnt open until 6. Bed was lumpy so not a good night's sleep. Won't go back. Hubby couldn't smoke his cigar at the bar but could at the machines.

Will not stay here again. Couldn't even get extra pillows. Took 45 minutes to check in with 1 person in front of me. Hot tub didn't work. Not a single smile from a single employee. People are not happy here. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned, even then poor results. Front desk does not answer calls.

Customer service at front desk when arrived was poor. If you are having a bad day don’t show it to a customer. We were suppose to be in an updated room. Pillows not up to standard. The refrigerator cabinet door was broken. No hair dryer. When trying to call front desk and housekeeping couldn’t get through. Had to go to front desk for help. Tried to reserve chair and umbrella at beach through code but didn’t work. Got the run around at hotel. No one knew where to send me to reserve. Finally ended up at the bar area and spoke to a manager. Only to be told no reservations during week. Information not on website or at hotel. guests this information.

For what it was worth, it was an okay stay. It has a nice riverfront beach area. The room had a great view of the river front. The bed was nice and comfy. The casino wasn't too bad, but I'm not much of a gambler. Our only issue was the seafood restaurant: Beach Cafe. The food is okay. But, it really wasn't the food that turned us off. First, we were seated and our waitress passed by us about 5 times. We sat there so long (mind you we just drove 4 hours to get here and were tired from a day of activities and the drive), that a busboy took our drink order. When we finally got the waitress to our table, she starts in on some sob story about her child being sick, that she wanted to go home, and she was trying to get off early cause her child was running a fever/vomiting/etc/all the stuff I would want to hear before eating 😒. The food was greasy and bland. And we were subjected to more about the sick child. Otherwise, minus the restaurant, this place is nice and has potential.
