We arrived around 8:30pm on Friday night after a 6 hour car trip. The front desk was unattended and we could not find a staff member. Looked around the building and management offices for 45 minutes while also calling the hotel and the phone range unanswered. Called Best Western national customer service and they never answered. Finally, called the Leesburg,VA police, as we were concerned the hotel had no staff on duty or something had happened to staff. When police arrived, a woman came out from the back and checked us in. In the room, the lock on the bathroom door was broken as well as the bolt on the hotel room door had been shirred off and was missing. The bathroom light was dim and blinking.

Gave stated here many times over the years. They should eliminate the term Fitness" from their room. It's a few rundown pieces of aerobic equipment. They even did away with the few free weights they once had. But otherwise worth the price.

Served the purpose

We had a room with two queen beds in it. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The room was spacious, appeared clean, with no odors. Even though the hotel is right off the highway, there was no noticeable noise from traffic. The beds were very comfortable. No issues in the sleeping area. The shower had some mold by the tile area and also noticed on the shower curtain itself. The tub did not drain properly, so when you were showering, you were standing in water about 2 inches deep. There was also mold under the sink. The buffet breakfast was very good. You could order an omelette. They had hot foods along with cold cereal, and other items such as bagels. The front desk staff were average; not very welcoming. The staff helping with breakfast, were very cordial and helpful. This stay would have been perfect without the mold and water back up from the shower. Front desk, staff could be more welcoming. I gave it four stars because of the included breakfast and the comfort of the beds.
